A few sneaky pics of our upcoming festive window display, which will be in place from 21 November. Can you guess the theme? Clue: by a complete coincidence it goes by the same name as the play we’re sponsoring at the Bridge House Theatre!

Have you been down to see our new window display yet? Our window of remembrance features a soldier and a tank created in-house by our upholsterer, Derek Huck, using old curtain poles, amongst many other reused materials. You can see how they looked in the workshop too. As ever, windowdresser Hugh Shear did a marvellous job of putting together the finished display to pay fitting homage to all our armed forces past and present.

Very proud of this recent job. To create this contemporary look, we gave these curtains an elegant wave heading and hung them from a metropole - which can corded, or operated manually or via remote control. All our curtains - and blinds - are created in-house here at Designer Drapes. #SilentGliss #Metropole

Follow the Yellow Brick Road in our new window display and discover the wonderful world of the Wizard of Oz! Here at Designer Drapes we're always blown away by the skilled craftsmanship, creativity and community spirit of the local Men and Women in Sheds project. This initiative, run by Age UK Bromley and Greenwich, is a lifeline to many isolated older men and women trying to stay healthy and active. Unfortunately, their National Lottery funding will shortly be coming to an end - and they’ll need to rely on the goodwill and support of the local community to keep them going.
