Well after finding the deva tap almost by accident we decided to give it a go. Having been let down by quite a few town centre pubs for just serving Fosters, Guinness, carling, smiths or flaming thatchers and think they offer choice. What a pleasant, varied and very tasty range of beers and more importantly a decent dark, stout or porter. Hurrraaayyy for the deva, answered all our drinking solutions in one place. Went back the following day and tried the food too. We'll couldn't fault that either. We live on the edge of sherwood forest and only visiting Chester, but hey, next time we visit we know where to make for first. Good luck chaps, knowledgeable lads behind the bar too. See you soon, and keep us either a "stay puft" or a wild beer "millionaire".....

Was visiting Chester and popped in here for a pint and lunch.



It's a quirky bar, caught between two roads and we sat outside. We didn't expect too much but the food was great and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even the customers were a friendly bunch with one passing over some some food for my partner to try when she asked what it was!



I'll be back next time I visit Chester.

Visited on Saturday whilst weekending in Chester, an absolute gem of a pub, fantastic selection of various real and craft ales, pleasant service with a smile and friendly locals, highly recommend.

The beer, wine and food is outstanding. I would definitely recommend a visit to this gem of a pub. I would advise anyone to stop by on their way into Chester. Fantastic pub vibe, absolutely decadent food, incredible staff and beer,

The beer selection is good with a mix of the house beers and other breweries. House beers are especially good and the squash and goats cheese pizza was beautiful. Definitely recommend.

Really great place. Friendly helpful staff and the deva beers are amazing. Only thing I'd change is to frost the window in the gents. Large as it might be it's a bit disconcerting to find everyone in the car wash looking up at your todger! ���

Popped in on Sunday on the last day of my holiday in Chester on a local friends' tip-off and was not disappointed. Oatimus Prime is a fine fine ale and I will be back later in the year to try some others. Top notch!

Just popped in for a quick drink and stopped for food. Absolutely brilliant the food was delicious and service was friendly. Can't recommend it enough.

It feels disloyal to say so because I was such a big fan of kash, but I really like Deva Tap too.



Cracking beer selection, great menu (thank goodness they renamed the burger) and just generally nice people.

Have always loved the beer and am happy to say that my first experience of the Tap House lived up to expectations. Thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and our food was fab; the triple cooked chips are divine �

Great pub, we popped in after a bike ride and the real ales were very nice. We shared some food, which was lovely and the bar person lady even filled our water bottles for the journey home. The staff were very pleasent and welcoming , I would recommend a visit if you are in town

First time visiting the Deva Tap yesterday and absolutely loved the food, I had the sea land burger and my wife had a pizza we shared some popcorn chicken. Portions were very generous. I sampled the pandemonium 2, 368, nz pale and mango IPA all very good brews. Service was friendly and efficient. Thanks for looking after us

Fantastic beers, friendly helpful staff and lovely food. The pizzas are 'to die for' ! As a regular visitor to Italy I know a thing or two about pizza! A top Chester venue.

An absolutely lovely pub! Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the quality of food is fantastic! Very delicious and the menu caters something for everyone, everything's done fresh and made to order - great value for money! Thanks guys, see you again soon �
