I often see people working out their abs with hundreds of reps, 4 or 5 sets of 50 reps each and doing always the old same crunches or leg raises. It's true that the best way to train your abs is with a high volume of reps as they respond better than the low volume we use to train other muscle groups, But honestly hundreds of reps for a 4 sets of crunches are useless and time consuming. Let's start treating your abs like any other muscle of your body: do you perform 50 re...ps of bicep Curls or bench press to Increase your muscle mass? If so do you really think that your biceps or chest will grow faster doing so? The answer is no! You are doing exactly the opposite! Nutrition plays also a huge part if you really want to show your six pack: you can kill them with hundreds of reps but if you still drink 5 pints and a eat kebab every other day it’s really unlikely you’ll see them showing up. So eat clean and cut alcohol off. Why don’t you try to play around with resistance (weight), time of the execution (i.e 5 seconds in the negative phase also known as TUT: time under tentinon) or using isometric contraction at the end of every concentric phase. Hit your core on all sides using different exercises and equipment performing a circuit style routine with no rest in between, 3 or 4 exercises of 15 reps each for two or 3 rounds.
Workout 1: 2 rounds, perform 1a-1d as giant set , rest 45” at the end of it 1a Crunch holding a weight 20reps 1b top half reverse crunch 15 reps 1c Russian twist with med ball. 30 secs 1d hanging leg raises 15 reps
Workout 2 Same as workout 1 1a. Half Turkish get up with KB 10 reps 1b. V- sits with 3” isometric contr 20reps 1c. Kettlebell windmill 15 reps 1d. Decline bench crunch 1:4 tempo 15 reps

I love to be fit and work out but need motivation and variety. Like most people, I also struggle to find the time to train for it to make a difference to my body and health. Since working with Dan this year, I have learnt so much about how to get results quickly and effectively, trying lots of different equipment, such as the sandbag and the viper and something I thought i'd never say, yhrough Dan'd persistence (and courage!), I now actually enjoy kettlebells! I also love this man, he comes to each session full of energy, which straight away makes me more enthusiastic for the fun and challenging workout he puts me through every week.

First personal trainer out of the many which I have had that I actually noticed a difference in my appearance. Got me down to 7% body fat and felt amazing about myself. Daniele really takes the time to look into your schedule and plain a plan around you. I was absolutely gutted when he left.
