As promised, I am reviewing the 'Rio' sandal from #birkenstock. You may be thinking this doesn't look like the black one I initially posted and you are right. The original style I tried was 'kairo' which you will find in my earlier post. Sadly those were not suitable for my feet and dug into the space between my big and second toes. They became more uncomfortable with time so I had to change then and try another style. By doing so I found these beauties! ...I have to admit since we have been having this heat wave in #London, these sandals couldn't have come at a better time. There have been no blisters, no cuts, no sore patches and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day due to the built in support from the bed of the sandal. My arch feels supported and the strap supports my ankle. I have the original normal fit but a narrow fit is also available. I'd recommend going into the #flagship #store in #coventgarden in London to check which fit would be best for you and to also see all the different styles available. Will certainly get the black versions of these soon!!😍

Heard a lot of @birkenstock and how comfortable they are. So naturally I just had to go and find my self a pair and report back to you all! The ones I'm wearing is the #black #narrow #kairo #birkenstock 😎
I choose these for multiple reasons; 1) they have ankle support which is fantastic! 2) the leather strap is super soft and you can barely feel it on your skin. ... 3)the arch support is nice to have in a sandal for once :) so my feet definitely appreciate that. 4) The footbed is non-slippery. 5) My only issue is the I find the grooves a little to hard just under my toes. I hope this is due to them being brand new. But will report again after wearing them for a full day to let you know my final verdicts.
I'll be doing the last point in a week's time on vacation! Wish me luck 😋
