So the big game kicks off today, England in the semi final of the world cup, who would of thought it! With various England players knocking it in the back of the net in previous games including the likes of Maguire and Jones, who do you think has the best chance of scoring one for us tonight?

Morning sports fans .....
England vs Panama
England is looking to all but guarantee its place in the last 16 of the World Cup when it takes on Panama in Nizhny Novgorod today. Three points for Gareth Southgate’s side will secure its spot in the knockouts if Tunisia does not beat Belgium, which leads Group H after the first round of matches after dispatching Panama 3-0.
... An injury-time goal from Harry Kane handed the Three Lions their opening victory over Tunisia in Volgograd and they are firm favourites to make it back-to-back successes in their first competitive meeting with Panama.
‚öΩHere is hoping Panama get "caned" today‚öΩ
Japan vs Senegal
World Cup workers at the Ekaterinburg Arena may be able to put their feet up today as Japan and Senegal roll into town for their Group H meeting. Both sides come into the clash high on confidence following 2-1 victories over Colombia and Poland respectively, meaning another success will all-but guarantee a spot in the second round.
Full match schedule list
And it was not just on the field that the two nations earned praise following their opening wins, as their supporters took the time to clean up the rubbish around them after the games in Saransk and Moscow, making life easier for the volunteers in those stadiums.
M'Baye Niang scored what proved to be a decisive second for Senegal against Poland in sneaky fashion, returning to the field following an injury just in time to capitalise on a mix-up between Grzegorz Krychowiak and Wojciech Szczesny to round the keeper and score. After netting his first international goal, the forward was quick to turn his attention to a meeting with the Blue Samurai as Senegal look to reach the last 16 in only their second appearance at the finals.
Poland vs Colombia
Colombia cannot afford to dwell on regrets from the defeat to Japan in its World Cup opener when it faces Poland in a crucial second Group H match, according to midfielder Abel Aguilar.
Jose Pekerman's side came into the tournament as strong favourite to win, but Carlos Sanchez was sent off in the third minute of the 2-1 loss to ensure a miserable start. That result, coupled with Poland's defeat by the same scoreline to Senegal, means the two sides find themselves in a precarious position.
Senegal and Japan face each other three hours earlier and a draw in that clash will mean defeat for either Colombia or Poland would result in elimination for the losing side.

The dick Turpin is our regular choice because it’s so cheap and very cheerful. We always compare other places to here because you can’t get better value for money. The staff are always friendly, especially Will who we’ve gotten to know. Highly recommended!

Went in here last night haven't been in for a while to be honest as I live in Crewe, I was meeting up with friends as they all live in Clayton, first impressions, dirty and tired , the carpets and seats where dirty and ripped to the point that all the guts where hanging out of the chairs, we ordered cocktails that were served in half pint gasses, to be frank the bar staff were friendly as I think they knew some of my friends, but I won't be heading back there in a hurry , I was told there is no management there at the moment , so hopefully this is a temporary situation.

User

If you want to wait 2 hours for a meal, then this is your place. No apology, no communication of delay and 3 children sitting on the table. Disgraceful

User

I wouldnt normally leave such a negative review i was a former restaurant owner myself and its extremely difficult trade to be in trying to please everyone

This place is seriously the worst restaurant i have eaten in

5 times our meals were sent bk and the team leader was very rude and very unapologetic

Not a manager on site and half wits for staff

Id say the biggest let down is the attitude if the staff who take no responsibility for their mistakes

Serious attention needed to this eatery before it falls into insolvency

I accept mistake can be made and places are busy this time of year but 5 times when it wasn't busy is disgusting

User

First and last visit unfortunately. Quite easily the very worst pub I have ever eaten in!

Came with my partner for quick meal last Sunday. Outside was fairly busy with people making use of the beer garden, but inside was near enough empty. Somehow even with 2 people serving on the bar, there was still a queue of about 15 people waiting to be served as we sat down. We waited about 20 minutes before even going up to the bar.

First impressions weren’t great, every table was dirty, nowhere to sit that had been cleaned properly. There were 35/40 glasses piled up on the corner of the bar waiting to be cleaned.

My partner eventually got served, he ordered a mixed grill and I had scampi. I asked for a pint glass of regular coke. My partner brought the drinks back to the table and we’d been given Diet Coke. I didn’t complain just said we would ask to make sure it’s regular the next drink.

The food eventually then came, I think there were 9 pieces of scampi on my plate, 3 were cooked and the rest were completely raw. The fries too were all cold. My partner’s mixed grill was the most disgusting excuse of a plate of food I have ever seen in my life - there were two sausages, one was completely uncooked and the other was charcoaled. The rest of the plate too was similarly appalling.

We then went back to the bar to order a second drink to wash down what bits of the plate of food we’d managed to salvage. At this point the glasses that there were piling up when we first arrived were still there, with another 20 odd more stacked to the side.

My partner asked for a pint glass of regular coke. The girl serving just nodded and proceeded to pour a glass of diet (you could see her pressing the diet button on the dispenser). He said ‘Is that regular?’ And she said ‘yes’. He said ‘no that is diet’ at which point she then said ‘yeah, we don’t have any regular’. I despair.

I will never, ever go back for food or drinks. This is the worst pub in/around Newcastle.

Came in tonight on a bank holiday Sunday. Waited over an hour for food then when ordering desserts at 8:45 was refused as the kitchen was "closed" however there was still people in our party waiting for food and one of the children who had ordered a kids "meal deal" had dessert included so she was allowed to have her ice cream but we couldn't pay to have one also made at the same time. No apologies were made we were told they were short staffed however the two barman were stood on the bar not doing anything. When a member of our party asked to speak to the manager they were told there wasn't one and a man walked out the kitchen in chef whites saying he doesn't even work there.... A little bit strange. When the food did come half of it was wrong or they had ran out but no one thought to come and tell us. To top it off the "chef" was seen sitting outside the smokers area in whites smoking. Not exactly hygienic. We are all regulars who normally come at least twice a week but think we will be finding somewhere else to go. The place has gone seriously downhill
