Wow! Lived up to and exceeded all expectations.

If you want to experience a truly special thing, this is the place.

Wonderful birthday dinner last night. Treated like a queen. I loved everything. This was a lifetime experience for me and the memories will remain with me forever. Thank you all for making my birthday really special. Triple cooked chips dipped in truffle mash - oh my word. Will my taste buds ever recover!

We arrived with high expectations (food and service) . We were not disappointed. Such a memorable lunch to celebrate our daughters birthday.

Truely everything I expected and such a beautiful experience , food and wine was sublime and service amazing ! Loved watching the busy kitchen in action . The meatfruit and tipsy cake are not to be missed !!!!!! 🙌😋 .

We are both vegetarians and the food was flavoursome.



There were many things we didn’t have a chance to try because we were full, such as freshly made nitro ice cream in front of you at your seat.



A few limited choices for vegetarians but definitely one of my favourite restaurants!

The staff were brilliant, very helpful and very intuitive and engaged well in conversation, we told the waiter we were in London for our anniversary after the starter was cleared...come the dessert we had happy anniversary plates which was a very nice touch, wine list was big but we didn't over think it ordered a Croatian white which was perfect with our meals and wasn't expensive, food was cooked and presented as expected for a 2* establishment



I had the meat fruit and aberico pork chop! Couldn't fault any of it. Definiatly pre order the tipsy cake as if you don't it takes 45mins..you won't be disappointed

Superb. There were eight of us and we had the private dining room. Service was superb - friendly, courteous and professional, with a very personable head waiter (from Cannes, I believe). As always, the food was spectacular - the meat fruit is stunning (and I'm not a pate guy), the earl grey smoked salmon and caviar was good with a nice citrus-y note, and the rib of Herefordshire beef for two was flavoured and sliced to perfection. A little more fatty this time than the last time we had it (June 2017) but very good nonetheless, with wonderful jus and a bold mushroom ketchup. Triple cooked chips were great as was the salad; the broccoli was the only thing that was rather forgettable. I don't drink but my friends said that the cocktails weren't that inventive or special considering the £20+ price, and in fact we had better drinks round the corner at the Lanesborough after dinner. But as an overall experience and in terms of the food, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal came through for us once again. Superb, and I recommend without hesitation.

Superb meal served by very attentive and courteous staff. Our table was next to the window to the kitchen which pleased my wife as she was able to view the chefs preparing the food. The restaurant ambience was just right. All in all an exceptional birthday meal experience

Staff were all very helpful and friendly. They are knowledgeable about the menu and the wine to go with each dish. The food was amazing. Yes the environment can be a little noisy when it's fully packed, but it's a restaurant so totally understandable. It's a wonderful dining experience.

Mesmerizing from the moment u enter. Excellent service. Loved the explanations to the food that I ordered. Insanely tasty food and full marks on the presentation . The wine pairings were supreme. Accentuated the taste perfectly!!



Recommended are the Salamgundy and the Frumentry for starters, the Iberian Pork Chop for mains and for dessert the Tipsy Cake(this takes 45 minutes to prepare so it’s advisable to place an order along with the mains).

Guid! That pretty much sums it up! Glasses were always filled, recommendations given, and even offered alternative table due to another party not knowing how to behave in public. My favourite was the bone marrow with snails! Having never tried snails before, i was apprehensive. Needn’t have worried!

Exceptionally nice place. The service is great and I cannot say enough about the food. It is very pleasant to the palate.

Couldn't fault anything. The service and gastronomy is exactly what one would expect from a 2* establishment. My partner had Mackeral to start, i had the Salamagundy - both were superb. The smell of salamagundy excited me before i had even tasted it. Delicious! My partner then had the Ribeye for main - so tasty, fries were super crunchy, the jus, cavolo and pomme puree were excellent! I had squab pigeon for main and its was extraordinary to say the least. Savoured every mouthful. So tender. So juicy. We then shared a cheese board to close - excellent selection of British cheese, nothing too ‘feety’ and the crackers, jelly and chutney were well chosen to complement the selection; a goats, a blue, two hard and a soft-ish. A great all rounder. We drank the Gusbourne sparkling Kentish rosé, if you enjoy an English wine and appreciate bubbles without too heavy a mousse then this is it! Delightful. The ‘Iris’ champagne cocktail was dreamy also! We will definitely be back 😘

A truly amazing experience from start to finish. I don't think there are words to describe some of the flavours and sensations we experienced.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is open and friendly. The waiting staff are friendly and knowledgeable about each dish and are genuinely enthusiastic about the food.

If you get a chance to go it is a must.

Food was excellent, service- good. Atmosphere in the restaurant reminds me of a mediocre business lunch... also looks like they fill up the worst seats in the house first... we didn’t like our intitial table @7pm, when the restaurant was rather empty. We asked to be reseated, and got the 3rd worst table in the restaurant. Each subsequent guest was seated at the next worst table, with the best tables left open for the guests later on in the night - made zero sense to me. Despite the food being great, I don’t think I’d ever come back, but for a business meal perhaps.

Food impeccable , service kind, knowledgeable and friendly but slightly chaotic: they missed our G&T order but did eventually and apologetically provide after we prompted, missed our ask for more bread and after prompting we were given extra just before our mains arrived. Hence the missing star
