To become Diplomantiq:
Diplomantiq (adverb) = A new state of being for the everyday citizen diplomat - It is the intellectual and creative meeting point for the creation and sharing of ideas instigated through contemporary methods of diplomacy. It is a combination of cognitive actions that are used by like-minded people to connect, inspire conversations, and work together on global issue. It is the outcome of combining diplomacy and the Arabic word ‘Mantiq’, which stands for reasoning and, but not limited to, logic.
Diplomantiq is a non-profit British /Iraqi organisation that aims to become an international intellectual and creative powerhouse, operating on three levels; (1) research and ideas development, (2) dialogue and exchange of ideas, and (3) the implementation of ideas through social projects and events. These ‘ideas’ are structured around, but not limited to, contemporary diplomacy and other international relations issues.
Diplomantiq’s philosophy:
Changing the world for the better starts from changing the ‘self’. To begin with, ‘change’ requires self-awareness – understanding and being aware of the ‘self’, to have ‘common sense’and spacial and social awareness. We believe that our identities should be built up through understanding, co-operating and setting the best example, to uphold high morals and values based on mutual respect. We aim to translate this through the sharing of ideas to change and develop perceptions, attitudes and ultimately; the world. Our values and beliefs facilitate this by working to stimulate the desire to learn from one another, and to share perspectives and stories through events, workshops and through various uses of multimedia to connect the world with each other. - Be present, be alive and be awake to the world, and beyond.
Our aim is also to create a brand personality that is bold, empowering and inspiring. With the hope of positioning our organisation as a key player in cultural, educational and humanitarian dialogue and development.
