We had a very pleasant stay last weekend. Maria Mazzitelli provided us with great care and treated us well. There was some miscommunication, but that did not ruin our stay. We had very tastefull omelettes at the breakfast and really enjoyed the hotel’s location with a unique connection to the London ferry/undergound.

We had a beautiful overnight here, absolutely nothing to 'complain' about, we were a family of 5 and stayed in a suite overlooking river Thames, we had access to the executive lounge area, which was fantastic, breakfast was fabulous (probably the nicest we have had in any hotel we stayed in) the chef also cooked our kids pancakes! It was our second visit to this hotel, and it has reassured us that we will definitely be back here again. We used the Thames clipper boat (picks u up just outside the hotel) to get into town centre which was a lot handier than walking to the tube! Over all an excellent experience and one we are looking forward to doing again, very soon. Thank you!

Second time I have stayed at this hotel. Great location and easy trip into the centre by boat. Hotel staff are really friendly. Food is top notch. Pay more and go for the king executive room so much more worth it for the executive lounge free drinks and free breakfast and river view and balcony.

Only stayed the one night as we were at a concert in London but wished we could have stayed longer. Had a river side view and at night looked fantastic. Everything you want in a hotel stay is here . Fantastic staff who couldn't do enough for you so that your stay is enjoyable. Little touch such as a warm cookie given to you on arrival is lovely. The room was excellent , warm and welcoming . Totally recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful hotel and I will be visiting again but staying longer.

My partner and I stayed for the first time over Easter weekend. We had been to the hotel a couple of times before for drinks and nibbles and thoroughly enjoyed it, so decided to stay next time we were in London.

We had a balcony room with a great view of Canary Wharf. Room was immaculately clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Didn't want to get out of it.

We ate breakfast on Easter Sunday morning, this was well worth he money. The breakfast choice was good and the coffee was plentiful.

The bar has a nice relaxed feel to it and the staff were very pleasant and chatty.

Couldn't fault our stay and will definitely be back.

Can I request less rain next time though ÔŅĹ

Lovely modern boutique style hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fab breakfast. Stunning location. Really enjoyed taking the river ferry. Very easy to get to from Canary Wharf and perfect access for O2 arena. We normally stay in Hilton Canary Wharf but preferred this Double Tree hotel. Rooms are slightly smaller but loved the architecture, facilities and location.

It's no joke the bubble's ARE bottomless! The afternoon tea was good and the bubble's were good quality champagne. For the price we paid (£29 for the 2 of us) absolutely no complaints whatsoever & would recommend it to anyone

I was bought a present from one of my student's and his family when he left school this year, it was for Afternoon tea for two the voucher was supposed to be used by August. In June my Husband had a heartattack which led to a tripple heart bypass, i rang the Double Tree and explained and they allowed me to use it as a set meal for two anytime of my choosing. As it is my Birthday next week my husband decided that we would book a room. The staff were amazing from start to finish we did not have a set meal they told us that we could have anything we liked from the menu. They even gave me a gorgeous Birthday desert. We will definitely be going back the rooms were great with an amazing view & we would highly recommend the Double Tree Hilton.

The hotel seemed very busy late at night so we had 2 wait longer than we expected for food and drinks. Plus weirdly our cold tap had hot water coming out of it initially??, but the hotel had gr8 views of the dock lands.

The hotel is beautiful. Our room was upgraded complimentry on our arrival which was lovely as it was a speical occasion. The staff are very pleasant. The hotel itself is situated in such a great area of london and getting around is easy. Unfortunately our stay was slightly spoilt because our breakfast the next morning was a nightmare we had to que for 25 minutes to even be seated. Then we was taken to a table that was dirty and coffee was spilt on the floor under our table so we then stood there whilst it was being cleared. This didnt make sense as there was empty clean tables available. Then we went up for our breakfast to which we was hopeing for a full english breakfast there was almost no food we just about managed to get sausage and bacon. There was no sauces. No bread. No butter. No juices. No coffee refills. Its so unfortunate because the staff and hotel itself is lovely. But our breakfast experiance let us down. I did have a brief chat with the manager and told him we was hungry and there was no food but nothing was done. Such a shame. Staff seemed overworked and understaffed.

Rooms a little small. The food service was terrible, waited a long time for our order after asking several times it came and was burnt,

I said to the waitress it’s clearly burnt she just smiled and took it away. When out food actually arrived it’ll came out twice, 1 of my colleagues had been charged other people’s food bill on her account?

When leaving the taxi driver asked me how my stay went, he said cheaper kitchen staff have been replaced and don’t speak English and everyone is complaining about the food and bar service here. I had to correct the room number the waiter had written down as he didn’t understand when he took my order.

Wouldn’t stay here again.

where do i start.... we stayed here on sat 6th May for our anniversary. On arrival we had to pay and display as their carpark for free parking was full... fair enough, not a huge deal. on check in we got told we had booked 2 rooms... one we had paid £84 for and another room of a higher amount. We had apparently booked this other room 10 days after booking and paying for our actual room. We questioned this as we certainly didn't book another room, nor did we have a confirmation email for this room, nor did it appear in our bookings on our Hilton member account. Their answer... this is weird, we will try and late cance it but there might be a charge. hmmm no there wont be as we did not book it!!! Was not resolved. My husband later went back told and asked for the extra room confirmation number... to be told its the same confirmation as the other booking. I work in a hotel and would love to know how a separate booking, made on a different day (apparently) has the same confirmation number? anyway, fair enough, the staff are trying to help, or so i thought. 2 hours after all this started, my husband asked for the customer service number... my response on a hotel desk would have been " of course sir" their response was... are you ready... "GOOGLE IT" Are you kidding me?? google it!! shocking!!!

anyway, the lovely lady on the phone sorted everything and when we went down to reception the following morning to check out and to say we had sorted it but of course, put a black cloud over our night away... not even an apology. Nothing offered to say sorry. No free breakfast, no part refund, not even a sorry. awful customer service. Like i said, as a hotel receptionist myself... at a lower budget hotel.. if i didn't have the phone number, i would have googled it myself, rang it myself, spoke to customer services myself and tried to sort it.

Walked into the hotel and was greeted by very moody and rude staff. Went to the room it was nice but 100% NOT worth the money at all. The following day, I went to go into the bathroom fell down the step banging my arm on a VERY sharp handle on the door cutting myself. Then went for breakfast, had evil looks from the staff. After that went to check out and they would keep are bags for us till later on when we would get the train. That was perfect. Then come back on the boat in a rush to get the bags and go to the train station. Staff didn’t know where our bags were and they just stood there looking at us. We told them we are in a rush and need to go, staff didn’t care one bit! Finally found our bags, we then had to run around to get to the train station, guess what...... MISSED OUR TRAIN!!!!! And had to pay £171 for two more tickets to get home. Overall I will never ever ever be staying here. Not even a sorry off the hotel! They are a joke!

Shocking service. Arrived at midnight with an advanced booking for two double rooms while travelling on business. The booking was made several weeks before.



We arrived only to be told that our rooms were not available due to a maintenance issue. There was no advanced warning and no one tried to reach us prior to arrival to make us aware of this issue.



Communication was terrible across all levels of the team, including the management.



Whilst alternative accommodation was being resolved, my colleagues and I were treated like second class citizens whilst other hotel guests were being checked in despite the maintenance issue. Niceties like welcome cookies only go so far if you can’t get the basics right or treat wronged customers correctly.



It took an hour to get any kind of resolution and we had to repeatedly chase staff for updates on what was a going on during this time. No one proactively updated us.



We were eventually relocated to the Hilton 20 minutes away by car, which defeated the point of having booked this hotel - the late hour at which we were relocated and the commute the next day completely defeated the object of booking into this hotel (to get a restful night’s sleep 8 minutes away from our meeting the next morning.)



Would never book again - when you book into a hotel, the very least you expect is to be able to actually stay there that night.

On the Sunday morning of our stay we were woken in the early morning (7am) by the fire alarm. After evacuating with 3 kids down the rickety fire escape. We were told it was a false alarm and to return to our rooms. After repeated alarms and evacuations. We were eventually told to stay in our rooms and ignore the fire alarms as there was a fault (Terrible advice... Just fix the alarm) we eventually gave up trying to enjoy the weekend and left at around 9am. Only to be unable to use the lift due to a fault... having to drag bags down the rickety fire escape. Complaints to the hotel have been largely ignored. Will not be staying at this hotel again..
