You just cannot fault the hospitality in this hotel. Very very pleasant staff and the receptionist on the evening shift of the 29th and 30th of September 2017 was especially very helpful and kind. We stayed there 2 nights for my partner's birthday and they made every effort with cake and wine to make it extra special. The welcome cookie is absolutely amazing and it shows how they try to make little gestures to make customers happy! Oh, and the gorgeous full English breakfast shouldn't be missed!

Without doubt one of the best hotels I stayed during my time in London! A very comfortable place. Nice staff, near train access. I highly recommend it to everyone <3

We booked our Christmas Day lunch there this week. It was absolutely fantastic. We were given a very warm welcome from the staff on arrival. The tables were beautifully decorated. There was a fancy hat, a cracker and a little party box. There was soup to start followed by cold meat or fish salad. This was all set out buffet style. The man in front of my husband, removed every prawn on the dish and all the smoked salmon had gone too by the time we had soup. It's the greedy human nature to assume that there will never be any more food ever, so prevalent on cruise ships too. The turkey was hot, served by a chef but sadly by 1.15 the vegetables set in hot serving dishes with roll top lids, were not that hot. The roast potatoes were not crisp and the Yorkshire puddings lukewarm and tough. However, we ploughed through as find this a common problem at carveries. The desserts were scrumptious and the husband found the cheeseboard excellent. Our adult daughter can't eat nuts and had eyes for the chocolate gateau. The maitre d went into the kitchen to check out the ingredients. Mince pies and coffee or tea followed. Prosecco and soft drinks were served on arrival, I forgot to mention. My husband enjoyed a very fine Rioja from the bar. We were very impressed with the attentiveness of the staff at all times. There were quite a few disabled people in the restaurant and the staff helped out in any way they could to help make it easier for these people, even bringing their servings to them. This was most kind. There were presents for the children under the tree. We 3 adults were so glad we had made the decision to eat out at Christmas so no one had to cook or wash up. We could not have chosen a finer venue. Top marks to all involved and thank you!!

Very friendly staff, great facilities best night sleep I’ve had for a while... could of been the drink. Warm cookie on arrival is a revelation

This is my third stay with this hotel. We love this hotel for various reasons. One it is very near to transport system tube or bus . Very polite reception staff as well as restaurant staff. Good well appointed room though in our previous visits we stayed in much bigger room but due to my mother we have taken interconnected room on 5 th floor as my wife is a member of Hilton honor this rooms are smaller but still worth to stay.

We thank Double Trees ealing common staff for all there help.

Second time we’ve stayed at the hotel. We would like to say that Alexa is a credit to the hotel. She makes an amazing Gin and Tonic and is always smiling

User

Lovely surprise stay here everything fabulous couldn't fault a thing apart from removing our drinks whilst getting breakfast but just goes to show efficiency of staff and cleanliness. The warm arrival cookie lovely touch and very delicious- thank you Hilton x

User

It was our first time at this particular DoubleTree by Hilton hotel and we couldn't fault anything. The reception was warm and friendly, we came early on the day of check in and the lady was happy to put our suitcase in the storage room until we returned later in the day when we could check in. At the time of check in we received two delicious cookies and the room was equipped with a nespresso coffee machine - a simply perfect combination!

Everything was super clean, and we had a great stay!

The location is fantastic as well, very close to the centre, a couple of minutes walk to the tube station. We will definitely be back!

Hi, I have two things to say about this hotel.

The first is that it is a excellent place to stay, really confortable and with a convenient access from Heathrow (by train or tube). I have stayed there a few years ago and found everything to be perfect at the time.

And the second is that me and my family are very pleased and grateful by the warm reception we had there on 17.12.16. Following a series of unpleasant dealings with air travel companies, we ended up stranded on the cold London night with two kids, one only two months old.

We headed to the DoubleTree Hill hotel, the reliable place I knew, and got there at 10pm to discover that it was all booked up. But we were received by gentle staff, who let us stay in the lobby and use their computer to solve where to spend the night. They even offered us food and water, and called a few other hotels for us. Their help certainly made us feel better amongst all the trouble we had that night, and made everything safer for us and the kids in our time of need.

So, on behalf of my family, I want to say thank you for all the staff and leave it registered here.

Had such a lovely accommodated stay this weekend. Lovely clean room friendly helpful staff. Great food. Lovely chilled vibe

User

Bed very comfy, room small but only in there to sleep. LOVE the hot chocolate cookies. Breakfast very good .All staff very helpful.

User

handy location for a weekend in London. The room, whilst smaller than we have had here before, was comfortable and did the job we needed it for. A weekend in London for us is not about staying in the hotel but having somewhere clean, comfortable offering a nice breakfast where we can get into The city easily.

Whilst this hotel pales when compared to the facilities etc at the Hilton Wembley the value for money cannot be sniffed at, especially as we got both nights covered by our Hilton Honours points and used the money saved to have dinner at the Savoy grill.

A small issue with charging the breakfast twice to our room was swiftly sorted.

One criticism, the warm cookies are always chic chip with nuts, please can you introduce a choice eg cinnamon and raisen for those who dislike, or have an allergy, to nuts in cookies!

Went for an afternoon tea yesturday a treat for my daughters 18th birthday was nice. The thing i do have to add is the cakes and sandwiches came up on a plated tier but the picture on your site they are presented in a black box also there were no baguettes only sandwiches. It does state the baguettes on your menu also.

User

I was there as a trainer for a conference hosted by the Energy Savings Trust. The staff on arrival were very attentive and helpful. I went to the room and Katarina came and introduced herself and explained if there was anything we needed to just ask. There was even a call button in the conference room!

We had a regular supply of tea and coffee and at lunch again Katarina was on hand to make sure everything was OK. Lunch was excellent with plenty of choice to suit all tastes.

Thorough recommend the conference facilities at this hotel and a special mention for the very helpful Katarina.

I was at the hotel for an evening function.

The food was nice and the staff were very friendly and looked after us well.

However at the beginning of the evening a left my bag in the secure luggage room and received a ticket from the staff member.

At the end of the evening I was one of the last to leave I went to retrieve my bag. The staff could not find it any where and even let me look myself. Eventually we found the staff member that had taken the bag off me when we first arrived for her to inform me she had given it to someone else at the function. I asked her how this was possible as I still had my ticket.

I located my bag with another member from the function but have now had to spend the last 3 days with its contents until I see her.

I am very disappointed the staff aloud this to happen and once more I have sent an email to express my disappointment with no reply.

Suspected fraud.

I came to the double tree in the early hours of last Thursday. I was told there was a room available but i needed to have a pre-autorisation on card and then pay in cash. After a few questions and issues I payed what I thought was a pre-auth on card and then payed for my room with cash. Totalling over 140 pounds.

I since have not had the pre-auth refunded so I believe all of this was a ruse to get more money off of me.

I have made Hilton and the police aware.

I have never been so disappointed whilst out for dinner. Service started poilte, however it was glacial. The food took a long time to arrive, whilst it tasted average it wasn't what I would expect. Chef (not so) special, contained 4 carrot sticks that I'm sure came from a bag, possibly from the Sainsbury's local down the road, met by a spoonful of soggy cabbage, neighboured with 5 small frozen looking potatoes. The chicken was fine. When asked about our food all the serves replied with was 'oh, sorry'. What is the point in asking how things are, if when told nothing is done, or mentioned to anyone. At the end of the meal once the waitress, who printed our bill 4 different times realised no tip was on her way (she only took the bill did no service to our table, and service was not great), her attitude soured slightly, and although not rude was no longer polite. I would not recommend anyone eat here and I am now sat at home cooking dinner as no one on my table was satisfied with their food. Paid a fair amount to leave and then cook anyway! Pointless.

Booked a top secret last minute dot com 'Luxury 4 star hotel' breakfast included as a special treat for my daughter and I for 20th May - less luxury and more stress. In summary: Five stars to the staff at the restaurant and bar pm and am breakfast, as well as for an exceptionally clean room (albeit minuscule), zero stars for pm reception, however.

This was the most stressful hotel visit for me ever, and I have travelled a lot all over the world. Reception could not find my booking (done 3days prior), however although I forwarded my email confirmation, we were not given a room until 40 mins and repeated requests later. This even though I had explained we only have an hour before setting off to see a play, and with my daughter in crutches running was not an option.

Technical glitches are understandable, but I have no tolerance for unimaginative, rigid and not-that-friendly reception staff. We should have been given a room there and then, as I had given proof of payment, and sort out the details later. We could have had our drinks and sandwiches in the comfort of our room whilst getting changed. (Missed the first five mins of the play)

Further upset at breakfast time when after giving our room number the staff come back saying it isn't included. But the girl seeing my upset, quickly sorted it out herself with the reception, which was fantastic as I probably would have burst into tears having to go through it all again!

Thanks so much everyone looking after us at the restaurant and bar in the pm and at breakfast! Later another friendly face came to apologise for the mess, and sandwiches, drinks and (included!) breakfast became complimentary.
