We had a very good breakfast which for the centre of London was exceptionally well priced. Very pleasant surroundings, with the bonus of dog biscuits provided if you had your dog with you. Lovely view of the park from where we were sat. Would recommend it if you are in tha area.

User

We found this hotel delightful. The location is superb. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hot cookies given to us on arrival. The rooms are smart and stylish with lots of space, very clean to a hight standard and our rooms over looked Hyde park which was brilliant. Car parking on site which meant a smooth easy transition from the lift to the reception and peace of mind knowing the car was safe and secure. The dinner was great quality and the breakfast alike. I would recommend this hotel and can't wait to return.

User

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice and quiet at night. Fantastic location . The Mytaxi APP needs to update the location as the taxi always went to the wrong Hilton! Staff lovely and very helpful and on the day of check out offered to look after our bags until we were ready to go home without being asked. Thank you

User

The rooms are well appointed albeit a bit smaller than I’m used to in the States, but very nice. The staff at the front desk & restaurant have been very helpful & courteous.

User

Perfect location with bus stop and tube station close by and entrance to the park just across the road giving easy access to Kensington Palace and Gardens. Friendly staff and outdoor seating for alfresco dining, important as we are visiting during a heat wave

User

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel as we was going to winter wonderland and loved it! Friendly staff, we was greeted with a hot cookie which was yummy and got a free room upgrade. Great start to the day then to find out the tube is roughly 3 minute walk from the hotel. There is parking available at extra cost. We had a lovely stay here and would 100% return and recommend to others.

User

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to help us especially the concierge Amid (I hope I got his name correct). He was so helpful and always made sure that we were able to get to where we needed to go. The only issue I have is that there was not a computer available for guest to use. I needed to print out vouchers and boarding passes and it was very challenging. Overall, it was a good experience.

User

Had an amazing 3 night stay in London for my birthday. Room ready by noon on day of arrival and our luggage was looked after, after checking out. Excellent service from reception and housekeeping. Great location, lovely hotel, nice quiet room, (apart from the alarm clock that went of the first morning at 06.10, swiftly unplugged!)

Miesko the waiter is a credit to the hotel he went out of his way to make our stay very special and it was truly appreciated. We will definitely be back xx

User

Friendly reception from all the staff, followed by a lovely afternoon tea, consisting of tasty sandwiches, delicious cakes and delightful flavoured teas. To top off this great experience (friends and I were celebrating special birthdays) we were also presented with bottles of bubbly. Would definitely recommend. And of course we cannot forget Ronny :-)

User

We got a fabulous deal for afternoon tea. The tea was lovely and deal included a bottle of prosecco which is great as most deals only include a glass. We had unlimited tea and coffee which was also a bonus. The cakes and sandwiches were so fresh and very tasty. The only downside was the service, the waitresses customer service was fine but there was only 2 of them and they were over whelmed by the amount of people, all the tables were full. We had to keep asking for things such as clean plates and cutlery.

User

Had a few evening meals with my family as they were staying there.

Everything was fine with nice food and friendly and polite staff.

User

The hotel is in a great location it's very nice & the restaurant is very convenient and decent. The Only inconvenience that we had was the shower Flooding it was very difficult taking a shower having to turn off the water waiting for it to drain luckily they fixed it the following morning. The location is very good very easy to get to Kensington Palace it's a 6 minute walk out the door. The tube is located right outside either to the left or to the right your choice to take you to all the sites

User

Only went for afternoon tea which was OK but there were 6 sandwiches of which 4 were egg

But I suppose the rose co made up for it

The staff were friendly and efficient but the cafe not sure of the name was cold in temperature and appearance

Don't think we will be back

Myself and my friend decided to stay here for just one night on the 18th of December 2017. We was in London for the Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park.

On entering the Double Tree Hilton we thought it looked bright and festive with a modern twist. Reception staff was very friendly and attentive and gave us both a freshly baked cookie each. We was given room 511 which was a stardard twin bedded room facing the front with decent views over Hyde Park and London. The first thing we noticed when entering the room was the heat, the heat was at 26 degrees and dispite calling down to reception the temperature never dropped below 24 degrees making our sleep very uncomfortable. The room it's self was small but adequate to our short stay needs. I'd rate this hotel as 3 star due to the heating issues and the restaurant looking like a school canteen.

We didn't require breakfast so can't comment there.

Make sure you do your homework before booking this hotel for the winter wonderland event as it's a 30min walk, this is not the hotels fault as Hyde Park itself is huge.

Thank you for a pleasant stay.

User

From the same industry hence a bit more fussy. Rooms are good but really small. They give you hot cookies at the front desk as soon as you enter the property... something that made my day. Can't say the same about service. Had to call a few timer for dental kit and finally had to go down and get it myself.

User

As I am working at the front desk of a hotel myself I might be more fussy on rating hotels.

The room was very nice - the only thing that was a bit distrubing was that we could not turn off the heating/aircondition as this is not possible -> dry air.

The welcome cookies were incredibly delicious so that's why I am really sorry to say that the biggest disappointment (especially for a 4* deluxe Hilton hotel and the price you are paying for in such a hotel - we stayed 5 nights) was definitely breakfast - that's why I couldn't give 4 stars. The buffet size was ok, but all the food looked as if the hotel buys the cheapest products. The fruits have no taste at all. Cheese and ham made the impression to be on the plates for a long time already (even though the service staff filled it up regularly) or rather used for more days - it didn't look fresh at all nore tasted well.

The whole reception staff however was very nice, attentive and helpful all the time.

A requested blanket was brought to our room immediately.

Restaurant staff was ok but could be a bit more attentive.

User

Compared to Doubletree by Hilton Chester, I was very disappointed with the room, booked a king room which looked like your standard double, the blinds were dirty with a view of a wall/linen loading bay. The digital clock read 'january' (its oct) with a time of '22.02' when it was actually 19.02, paid £198 did not enjoy it, did not even want to hang around for breakfast, could not wait to leave - maybe someone should go down to Chester and take notes! Never again.

User

my stay was a nightmare. I was charged 600 pounds for the room flood caused by malfunctioning bath and triple charged for my breakfasts. Leaving the hotel I was promised that hotel management will get in touch with me to resolve the issue, but it never happened. The shittiest hotel experience I've ever had. Hilton? Never again

User

You get 4 tiny sandwich fingers each with hardly any filling and it was obviously made well in advance and kept in fridge as the bread wasn't soft all the cakes were cold and hard...as I cut the scone open it all crumbled apart as it was so dry.. it also states you get a bottle of prosecco but we were given cava...all In all a disappointment as we had travelled quite a way for the experience
