Went there based on the good reviews on line. Was not disappointed. The food we had was authentic and delicious.

Loved this place to bits. Don't judge the restaurant from the outside. Really lovely and cosy inside. Downstairs room as well. Great food, great quality, fresh fish, light tempuras, yummy teriyaki, good portions, fresh sushis rolls sashimis ... and top puddings, especially the black sesame ice cream. Great service as well !

Have been to many different Japanese restaurants in the UK and this is by far the best restaurant I’ve been too. The sashimi is very fresh, service is great, very creative sushi and overall experience is fabulous. Very busy restaurant and have many people constantly queuing. Would advise to make reservations in advance.

My visit to Dozo soho has been amazing however there was a day where the air conditional was switched off and I felt very hot and uncomfortable.

Food was very delicious, with a friendly waiting. And the restaurant easy to find. Hope the food quality willing delicious all the way.

The first thing I noticed was that the personnel were not Japanese at all. There is way too much rice in their bento menus, but that is really just my observation, it was presented looking more chinese than the more dignified modest but elegant way the japanese would present their food. The spicy beef noodles I ordered was a delish, though, that's why I am giving it an OK.

What is “ fine dinning “ mean? Need guests to send our food by ourselves?

Good food cheap stuff.

My wife and our 8 year old son went to this restaurant on Fri evening (24 Oct) at 6pm for dinner before a show. It was supposed to be a special occasion. They were seated upstairs, but the staff were very unfriendly and their waitress was very aggressive to our 8 year old. She got cross with him and told him he needed to sit closer in to the table so that she could get past. She was clearly out of her depth and did not want to be working there. This experience overshadowed their meal completely and spoilt the evening for my son - he did not eat much and wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The restaurant put an automatic 20% on the bill for a tip - which given the service they would not have given.

Lousy service with staff running around seemingly without a clue of what they are doing... Host behaves like she'd rather be elsewhere... Ok food but best not to go on busy nights as they are not able to manage the number of covers that have been cramped in... Observing sanitary standards is also a question in this case... SAD overall...
