Went for dinner this evening. I am currently suffering with various gastro issues so asked for the gluten free bread for my burger. 5 mins later our waiter comes back with a message from the chef to inform me that the buttermilk chicken i ordered contains flour and would i be ok with it as i had asked for gluten free bread... 5* to the chef.... 5*! Well informed and friendly.. will definatlet be back.. we need more hugs in mugs!!!

Guys day out, had lunch here before heading to Finsbury Park for Liam Gallagher. Great food and service, will definitely go back again

Decided to return as we had enjoyed a great breakfast here back in November. Once again great food, great atmosphere and our service was spot on - nothing was too much trouble. Within an area that has been regenerated really well. Fantastic meeting point as 1 minute walk to Kings Cross Station, surrounded by a selection of good bars and has a great vibe!

Beautiful place to brunch. Really cosy and original, thé staff is great and the food us amazing 😍😍 I will definitively come back there !

Good burgers although they were cold when they first arrived. Waiter very apologetic and delivered a second lot of fries to compensate. Think the issue was (as we could see as we were sitting at the bar) was plates sat under heat lights, so plates were hot, burgers weren't!

Exploring the area at the end of Saturday afternoon,we tried Drake & Morgan 'on the fly' for a family meal and it turned out to be really good choice! Service was both friendly and attentive,without being obtrusive.The starters - fried squid and chorizo and gadron peppers were a couple of our selections - impressed by the generous portion sizes! I've been to some restaurants were they serve less for a main course! Main courses were excellent too...burgers for the kids were delicious and filling,green thai curry was very pleasant,and a steak was nicely done. Couldn't manage any desserts!..we were full!! So all in all,highly recommended.

The setting is lovely, the food was fabulous, but the service is variable (why can't waiters remember who ordered what any more?) and we were treated quite rudely when we asked for coffee after our meal and were told our table was required even though we were still 30 minutes within our two-hour slot.

Food was excellent. Service was awful. Staff stood around. When asked for service twice we were told to wait for our waiter. Waiter passed our table, chatting away with another staff member. Shared that he was "f--king tired" in earshot of the four children on our table. Then we had to remind them to remove the item from the bill that we had sent back. If you go, do not expect a warm welcome.
