It was great to see Councillor Danny Thorpe, leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, when he visited Drury Tea & Coffee as part of a fact finding tour of local businesses last week. Cllr Thorpe chatted with Drury Commercial Director Marco Olmi about a wide range of topics that impact on local SMEs and it was an informative and constructive meeting that typifies Greenwich's supportive approach to business. Today is a very poignant one for everyone at Drury, as we say goodbye to our senior salesman, Donato Savorani. Donato started with us in June 1988, and he leaves behind a fabulous legacy and many customers who will miss his unique approach! The good news is that his daughter Giorgia joined us last year and she’s doing a very good job of filling his shoes. Enjoy your retirement Donato, the coffee world will be poorer (and quieter) without you. #legend

We're really looking forward to the Greenwich Get Together Community Festival this coming Saturday. We are very proud to be one of the sponsors of the event, and we'll also be there serving our delicious teas and coffees from our lovely vintage Citroen van in The Royal Arsenal.
