We have just spent 2 glorious days in Sidmouth, and chose to Eat at Dukes well that was a the best idea all round, the food is amazing , the staff were so very friendly. Nothing was to much to much trouble. We will be back . Highly recommended .

We are there now, leaving tomorrow. Had a lovely lunch yesterday and a beautiful meal last night. When we arrived we had a room upgrade for no other reason than it was available. Very courteous staff, room immaculate. Breakfast this morning was enormous! Coffee refills offered without having to ask. This is definitely the place we will stay at whenever we visit Sidmouth again. Highly recommend!

Thank you to all the staff who worked on Sunday the 22nd of January and all the stuff who helped with the run up to the day! Eliza had the most amazing christening meal!! All the staff did an amazing job and helped make the day perfect!

Definitely will be going back.

Food good, staff friendly and efficient.

Lovely hotel, fabulous position, had best room, ( ask for 14 if visiting ), Dan who checked us in was polite, friendly, helpful & all staff we came into contact with were lovely! Would highly recommend. If there was a negative, there are only about 7/8 parking spaces, however we got one so wasn't a problem.

Had dinner here with my family last night and the fish n chips were awesome, highly recommend this spot. Dog friendly, fast service, great location and atmosphere. Don't waste your time with the white horse cafe up the road it'll probably be closed anyway.

Great service found us a table straight away last nite even though it was gone 8.30 can recommend this place and the food is brilliant had a great fish pie really yummy �

Fantastic service. Only visited for a pit stop on our way from Weymouth to Newton Abbot. Manager made a fuss of our dogs which is always a bonus in my eyes. Food was great and quick service. This experience has made us want to revisit Sidmouth when the weather is better (it was cold and wet)!

Fantastic fish and chips lunch could not be faulted. Great service from friendly staff. Will return.

Always good. Excellent prawn sandwiches. Really good terrace to eat and drink. All clean and tidy. Friendly helpful staff. Enjoy this place.

A vegan, a celiac vegetarian, a pescatarian and an omnivore went to dinner last night.........and despite there being no vegan options obvious on the menu, and no gluten free vegetarian dishes, the lovely waitress offered us some fabulous options. All four of us ate three courses which were all very tasty. Makes a huge difference not to be fobbed off with a green salad!! We will be coming back. Thanks so much!! 👍👍👍

It's very busy in the summer months but in the off season it's fairly quiet, it's got a nice cosy atmosphere , friendly staff and reasonable prices, I like it ,you can go in and just have a coffee or a meal � meet friends it's a really nice place

After a mix up with our order the management were extremely professional and helpful in sorting out the issue. The food was lovely and service was great.

Uninspiring. Burgers and Fish Sandwich okay but Roast Beef Sandwich, Nachos and Pizza not great. Food hit and miss here. Specials usually fine but you take your chances with the rest and never order fish unless you find out if it is fresh. Have had great Fish & Chips here and have had disgusting Fish & Chips here. Probably the only pub in Sidmouth I would think of eating in but it's not all that! Waiting service very good but bar staff can be painfully slow. Very good for a quick drink and some thoughtful touches like blankets for using outside. Don't hate the place but don't find anything to rave about either.
