Utterly delicious. Been twice now. I plan to work my way thorough the menu.
Tried the prawn wontons and noodles for the first time today. I can see why Dumpling Shack has its loyal following - flavourful and hearty, generous portions, and great value for money. I'm coming back tomorrow!
This placed has now ruined Dumplings for me! Can’t believe how good they are in comparison to what I get from my local takeaway. Now need to move closer to Spitalfields!
Mmmmm.... Tasty!!
Had the lunch menu and it was goooood. I loved the noodle especially. Would definitely have it again.
Been dying to go to this place and finally went when I was in London. They weren't taking orders for the shengjianbao at the time as they had to check their stock so I ordered noodles instead, but asked if I could order them anyway and just wait, as I had been waiting to try them for so long. They said they weren't sure, so I just waited for my noodles. After they did their stock take, they let me quickly order without having to requeue! So sound of them, and the food was delish!
Amazing handmade dumplings. Will definitely go back!
Amazing dumplings with so much juice flooding out. Came during the Asian food festival and had the longest queue in the whole market. Defo worth the wait.
What they call soup is actually just boiling water with lots of pepper. The won tons were ok, not amazing.
Overrated, tried the wonton, shenjian bao and noodles. Verdict:
Shenjian bao: was over salty
Noodles: all you could taste is spicyness and oil overload, no flavour
Wontons: good like every other store in China town or Chinese takeaway.
Service: Lazy with whatever attitude
