Last week I went to two excellent fashion related exhibitions at the V&A.
Frida Khalo was an extraordinary Mexican artist and fashion icon in her own right. The V&A has displayed, not only paintings and fascinating photographs, but many of her clothes and artefacts that had been shut away for many years after her death in 1954.
In the permanent, dedicated fashion space is the Fashioned from Nature exhibition. A fascinating display showing the use of natural products in fashio...n throughout the ages. The exhibits of most recent years show many ways the fashion industry is moving towards more ecologically friendly and sustainable clothing and accessories ... Inspiring!

William's Fund Event - Echoes and Zoe Brown Perfume were delighted to host this event to raise money for William's Fund on the 10th May 2018. Joanna (William's mother) and Deborah (Zoe Brown Perfume) seen here, joined us at Echoes for a Summer Fashion and Perfumery Evening.

Invitation to an Evening of Summer Fashion & Perfumery at Echoes on Thursday 10th May 2018 6pm - 8pm
Please join us for a glass of prosecco at an informal early evening of fashion and perfumery. This is an opportunity to browse Echoes Spring/Summer Collection in time for the holiday season, whilst spritzing a refreshing and rejuvenating hand poured artisan perfume, which has been created here in the Chess Valley by local perfumer Zoe Brown.The Zoe Brown Perfume signature scen...t, Mandarin, Grapefruit & Amber opens with a fresh citrus sonata, and warms down with heart notes of May Chang, before finally drying down to a soothing rich base note including Amber and Tonka Bean.
The perfume will be available to buy during the evening at the RRP of £45. Zoe Brown Perfume will make a donation of 22% of the purchase price of every bottle sold, and with the addition of Gift Aid, William’s Fund will receive £12.37 for every bottle sold!
Echoes will also make a donation to William’s Fund.
We hope that you will join us for an evening of fashion, perfume, philanthropy and fizz and support our initiative to help raise money for William’s Fund in its support of research into the earlier diagnosis of childhood cancers.
