We had our Tea here yesterday (the one near Euston train station), flipping delicious, worth every penny, the lady that waited on our table was lovely too. Oh and the milk shakes are to die for....!!!

User

Didn’t expect much at such a busy spot immediately outside Euston train station.

How wrong was I. Great cooked to order breakfast so good I went back for dinner before train home.

Small but plenty of tables didn’t feel hemmed in on my table for 1.

I can’t praise the staff highly enough on both a.m. and pm visits. All cheerful attentive and nice to see staff being so friendly and relaxed with customers and fellow workers.

Very impressed with the support the staff have to a very upset customer who had just realised she had lost her purse and passport, they were very kind and respectful towards her. A very calming influence for the poor customer.

Keep up the good work.

Easy Ed picked me as a their competion winner I won a large milkshake & small milkshake me and my son took advantage of this yesterday after a long day at work and school for himself, this is all I crave at the moment as I'm pregnant and my the milkshake was beautiful alot better than we expected! Then we fancied a burger which also was OK I won't give it a 5 as I don't think you've quite reached that jusy yet but I enjoyed my dinner date with my son thank you (eds diner in Swindon)

User

Went yesterday to Euston....always a favourite stop for a milkshake. Shown to a table and was told there were no onion rings and no milk shakes! After a long wait (the place wasn't busy by any means), someone came to take my order...that was when I found out there was also no orange juice and no apple juice!!! Food came quickly but seemed to have shrunk considerably since previous visits....very disappointed and no longer top of my "must visit when in London" list.

User

Visited the one at Euston station yesterday for a late breakfast. Read reviews on trip advisor which said that the food is good but the service isn't great, thought we would try it out and ended up with pretty much exactly that experience.

The restaurant appeared to be understaffed with a bit of a wait to get seated and then have an order taken. We were told that there was no sausage pattie which was odd as it's part of many items on the breakfast menu. Food came fairly quick and was actually very good. The down side was the interesting atmosphere that the staff provided by openly disagreeing with each other in front of all the customers, this was somewhat entertaining but not ideal for a restaurant!

As we sat wating further items were slowly taken off the menu including orange juice and chocolate milkshakes! Payment was slow with people queuing up to pay as the table service was slow in picking up the bills and as more people arrived the time for food increased to 40 minutes! Luckily we had already been served by this point.

If you want good food a slow service and some entertainment from staff then this is the place to go. Just a shame the atmosphere and service let the place down, maybe a few more staff members would help pick the place back upm

User

Walked in for breakfast today to be told there was no tea no coffee and no fruit juice....jist what i eant to hear at breakfast time so we ordered something else to drink. Then we saw staff making themselves tea and coffee..The table we sat at was dirty. Only plus side was the food was ok.

User

Ate in Ed’s Birmingham last week. First and last time. Food was nice but expensive for what you got. Shame about the very rude member of staff that served us. Will not go there again. If you want a friendlier place to eat, The pub over the bridge is friendlier and the prices are more reasonable. Plus they had desserts not like Ed’s that had no desserts at all. We ordered 4 different desserts to be told did not have any of them.

User

We've been going to Ed's Easy Diner since it opened in Brighton Churchill Square and it's been a place that reminds me of the diners in America, it was one of the best places to get milkshakes and food as a treat, but since it's 'upgrade' the place has let itself go. We were seated quickly by a waitress (who we never saw again), after a 10 minute wait another waitress walked past and we asked if we could order food. She said it was no longer table service, we had to go order up at the front (A diner is table service so you might want to 'upgrade' your name to Ed's Easy Eatery.) which was fine but it would have been nice to be told this straight away. I treated myself to one of the Nutella milkshakes (which by far was the best milkshake in the UK), but what I received was a thin runny shake with a drizzle of nutella and possibly 1 scoop of ice cream. What was I paying £5.00 for? The food was adequate but no where near the level it once was, and it wasn't very busy. The tables were sticky, the seats were too and my legs got stuck to the material. Gross. When I had to get up I had to peel my legs off the sticky material. I will not be going back to you again. My entire view of your company has gone down the pan as you are looking to maximize profit over everything else and are now the same as everyone else. I'd rather go to McDonalds.

User

We went to Ed’s diner in Victoria train station. Worse one I have ever been to. Tables were clean but so sticky even left my finger print on the table. We waited ages for our order to be taken then no ask if food was ok or if we was ok for drinks. People even got fed up waiting and walked out. It wasn’t even that busy really and at 12 o’clock ish a part of the sitting area was not bing used yet they turned away a group of people. Please look into staff training as customer service is so poor it really need to be looked into.

User

We ordered food to be delivered from the Norwich branch.

They said it would be delivered an hour and 15 minutes ago and it has still not turned up.

We called the restaurant after it was an hour late and asked to cancel the order and get a refund, restaurant refused as they said the delivery driver had just left, however the food is still not here.

They said there had been a delay as the delivery driver did not turn up to collect the food.

The food has just arrived and the delivery driver has told us it was so late as he did turn up but was stuck in traffic, whereas the restaurant is telling us the delivery driver did not turn up.

The food was delivered cold so we have been waiting a total of 2 hours from the time we ordered for cold food.

Terrible customer service, would never order from or eat here again.

User

Very dirty, hand prints all over the windows. Table not clean, seats have seen better days. Our server looked like she needed the day off, wouldn't allow us to sit at a booth even though another couple were, clearly one rule for one etc. My advice is, keep the place clean

User

This is not a criticism of the waitresss or the food it’s more of the company. For the past 2 years the restaurant in Nottingham has been waitress service. These people took the job on expecting that they would be making extra on top of the basic wage on tips. Now it has changed to self service. More like Nando’s where you go to the till and order and the girls/guys that used to wait now just clear plates. Their wages have not gone up, speaking to one of the staff she is down more than £300 a month. This is bloody disgusting, this company has basically taken money from the staff in order to maximise their own profits I urge everyone to now boycott this place. I hope Karma comes down heavy on the owners/shareholders

User

Once, before there was choice, Ed’s Easy Diner was one of the only places to get a half decent burger in London. Well, they clearly seem to think that the best was to beat stiff competition is to drop their standards and quality. Visited Euston branch tonight to treat wife and 5yr old and break a long journey. What a horrendous disappointment. Dry, over cooked, and clearly frozen, mass produced burgers, greasy onion rings, paltry blob of chilli and cheese sauce on lukewarm, cardboard fries (for £2 extra, I’d expect a decent ladleful) and coleslaw that was only half a notch above the lowest common denominator served by KFC. Too rub it in, we were crowded into the stifling hot restaurant, like baked sardines. And the toilet (single) was filthy. Disgusted and disappointed.

User

I ordered the porridge, thought the maple syrup was optional! I asked our great waiter if I could get the porridge without the syrup. The cook "Christof" glared at me, told the waiter the menu was clear, but begrudgingly made another bowl of porridge for me. A young woman, not in uniform, did come over and apologized for the mix up. Overall the staff were great, other than the cook, he is not a good representative of your brand.

User

I am currently sitting in Ed’s bluewater .

We waited 10 minutes to be seated even though the restaurant was half empty .

The waitress service was good . However we have waited over 30 mins for food and still waiting .

Some food has been sitting on the pass for over 20 mins . We haven’t been offered any refills .

I have been coming to Ed’s here since it opened and a member of Ed’s club . I won’t becoming again all while service is like this !!

Food arrived and half of it stone cold !

Must be winding the business down as no way it will survive .

User

Giving it a 1 star as the milkshake was nice and you can't give less than one star. As for the rest well below what I expected. Poor service, poor quality Luke warm food. We were seated straight away but waited 20mins for service. A lady then arrived and was served and eating food and leaving by the time we got our order only for them to forget our drinks. When the food arrived it was Luke warm and definitely not worth the cost even if it was hot. Then they gave us someone else's bill which we quickly got corrected. Won't be going back. This is the one in Euston station.

User

Don't go there anymore, I have had another bad experience making that my final. They are just like any other over priced burger joint with no USP. I ordered "The Big Cheese" which consisted of an extra slice of cheese and nothing else. They used to be good but their burgers are over cooked, bought in frozen so they have to, they use waffle fries and nothing is really worth eating. It no longer feels like a diner but more like somewhere just made to look like one. The only way to describe what's happened is that it's become very British, but not that good British, that 1960s British that ruined every concept.

Go to a Big Moe's or a Byron's, both over priced but you won't feel cheated as you tuck into some of the tastiest burgers. Some Byron's still do medium well so not over cooked either.

User

Been in today at the Euston Station store and the meal and service was so poor...

Sat in placed our orders everything was OK, until food was brought to our table, meals were wrong and were actually for the people sitting across from us and even then one of the meals was wrong again.

To then watch my meal being sat on the side for 20 minutes to come over to me cold, and when it was brought out again you could tell it was just warmed up and it tasted awful. We asked 3 times for refills and only did we receive them half an hour after asking, whilst watching other members of staff doing irrelevant things that could have waited. Staff were being spoken to awfully by the manager, which I felt was so rude, no wonder they looked not bothered and pissed off. And she had the decency to turn around to another staff member and say “Don’t worry about them, can you take food over to the tables”... in front of the waiting customers.

The stock was being brought in half way through the morning, surely you’d do this before opening the store rather than when you’ve got a queue of customers who’d been stood waiting 10 minutes.

And not even going to moan about how we had to wait to pay

No apologies or nothing, bullshit.

And get some manners, feel sorry for your staff.

User

Awful- food was rubbish , chips undercooked, burger and onion rings overdone and greasy, coleslaw was just a load of onions in mayo.

It was boiling hot in there, filthy floor and their leather seats are dirty and damaged. Staff didn't seem to have any interest in customer service, never smiled.

The Toilets were utterly disgusting- I couldn't take my child or baby in to use the facilities.

I will not be eating there ever again
