In this world of rush, rush, rush and more, more, more we are looking for peace of mind and yoga via the postures may help to you achieve this.
Yoga enables you to feel the body from the inside out. By developing sensitivity we can move our consciousness inside our spine and truly feel which parts need moving. Cultivating feeling in asana creates movement where there was stagnation, allows release where there was stiffness, and awakens freedom where there was bondage. We need to allow the force of feeling to be with us in all of our life. FIRST TUESDAY of each month 7-9pm I do a relaxation yoga class which includes relaxing yoga, breathing lessons and practice, then guided meditation and of course a long Savasana - Corpse pose at the end of the enjoyable 2 hours. Your donation £15 goes entirely to RNOH Stanmore for the cancer trust: SCAT. I'm raising £10, 000 over the next 5 years to say thank you for my Total Hip Replacement. I now can do all the hip exercises including Lotus posture. Namaste x

I've been going to elaine continuously for a year. I have a slipped disc in my neck and I was offered an operation to fuse the spine and put a cage around the discs... I've refused the operation. I'm now off all pain medication and I'm managing my condition with just iyenga yoga. Elaine is a master of her craft, a wonderful teacher and very funny. A rare gem. Highly recommend.
