We work to current 17th Edition wiring regulations and are fully qualified to work on a variety of electrical installations. Several years experience of working in the industry has resulted in an excellent local reputation, as a result currently we gain all of our work via word of mouth.

4KW SOLAR SYSTEM FOR JUST £5000!
Our first ever install on a Collyweston roof had us scratching our heads on how to best approach such a complex and delicate roof; with a pitch of 45 degrees and definite shading issues the jury was out for a while considering the feasibility of the installation. With help from Sylvie Winn and Helmut Wanner at Baywa-re, who both visited the site, we used the new Novotegra mounting system complete with flashing. The Novotegra system gave us the flexibility to work with a very tricky roof- the roof hooks are fully adjustable and can be wound in to suit any roof type and they are so slim it meant minimal cuts were necessary. The hooks were then flashed over to meet MCS standards for slate roofs. The install was a great success also using a SolarEdge inverter and optimisers to combat shading issues it will yield great results.
Mounted on a home made wooden mounting frame this system nestled into the Devon countryside providing 4kW of solar to a very remote residence. It was an absolute pleasure working in such beautiful surroundings and the finished install created minimum impact on the surrounding area
Just a reminder that solar PV is still a great option- the sun is shining and heating the water for free courtesy of ImmerSUN, 2 loads of washing for free this morning, gas boiler switched off.............

With the cost of micro inverters now firmly within the budget for domestic installations, properties that would have previously been unsuitable for solar are now a viable option. Sweetdean Cottage is a perfect example with its west and south facing roofs, some of which will experience some shading in the winter. Enecsys micro inverters allowed 3.25kW of Amerisolar 250W panels to be installed in 3 separate areas, maximising the available space regardless of orientation. Not only can you mix orientations with micros; you can add to the system at a later date using different panels if you choose!
Phase 1 of The New Art Exchange completed!
Phase 1 of the NAE's solar PV install completed using Amerisolar 250W panels, Schletter Alugrid mounting system for flat roofs at 10 degrees and Enecsys micro inverters. Just 2.25kW to begin with but the plan is to add more at a later date. Turns light into energy then back into light again!
This is Germany ... why not the UK too?
