Thought it was great, enough like the film to find it funny but also different enough so you wasnt comparing it the whole time. We left feeling very festive and happy!

User

The most amazing show !!!! So many talented people!!!!!

User

Show is amazing, I could watch everyday until Christmas... Your sooooo lucky if you have tickets to see it

User

Saw the show tonight and loved it. I'm now officially in the Christmas spirit. I wasn't expecting it to be as brilliant as it was. Ben Forster as Elf..... Amazing. Perfectly timed comedy moments and loved his voice. Kimberley Walsh... Musical theatre? Who knew! Well done all, I felt like a kid again :) A must see for all the family, bit pricey but is well worth the money. In my opinion Ben Forster was better than Will Farrell as the character of Elf . Thanks for an evening of spaklejollytwinklejingley the songs are memorable and stuck in my head now, was a happy journey home x

User

Saw it last night with my 7 year old boy it was amazing wish I could watch it again :-)

User

Just back from watching this at The Lowry in Manchester and it is PHENOMENAL! The cast, the songs, the set, the choreography, heck even the musical conductor was a joy to watch as he sang along and danced to every tune. My eight year old girl was starting to doubt that Santa existed but after tonight she’s a believer again. Thank you to all involved for a fantastic night at the theatre.

User

It's a fantastic show, not all seats are expensive..and it's worth every penny!

I brought our family of 8 to watch this fantastic production yesterday and to watch an old friend Paul Hutton who was just as amazing! Well done to the whole cast, front and back stage for bringing some well needed Christmas cheer to London - and I hope you all enjoyed the Christmas hot chocolate Santas I brought for you all!

User

Fantastic show! Wonderful cast!!! Just had my second visit - with my third in 2 weeks and I can't wait!! So worth the money I have spent

User

User

User

Surprisingly good show and a great new musical.

A little shout out to the FOH staff who have had somewhat of a bashing in reviews, firstly I'd like to add that if you can't teach your children what theatre etiquette is, perhaps you don't know yourself, then you can only expect to be asked to be quiet or leave. I headed up a group of 50 last night and due to traffic arrived 30 minutes later. The stewards were excellent, practically waiting for us despite having no warning and got us in without us having to wait for the interval. A big thank you to them.

User

Saw it last night as we loved the film. Bought my tickets the day before for 86 quid each via the theatre website. Seats were actually not too bad (back of the stalls). There were moments of brilliance the sleigh especially was a fab touch and the singing was great. However i couldnt help but think something was missing....not sure if it was because im not yet into the full swing of xmas maybe?

User

I went last night with my two daughters and my Mum. We loved it. Although it was a slightly different story to the original film it was very funny. The last half was superb. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because it is showing right now on channel 5 and again on Xmas day. I am really surprised at this. We paid a lot for our tickets and it somehow doesn’t feel as special. I think if it was going to be aired this should have been made public earlier or shown after the show had ended in January.

User

Absolutely love the film Elf and having watched it at least 2 or 3 a year with my mum, so we decided to go and watch the musical, after seeing the price and having someone purchase them for us due to this, we expected great things. To our delight we were extremely impressed with the production particularly the sets and special effects especially toward the end of the show, showing they have spent their ticket money well. I would also like to say just how amazing Ben Foster is at playing Buddy, with Will Ferrel being one of my favourite actors it was a hard role to live up to, but I have to say he embodied the spirit of Buddy perfectly and he voice blew me away. Thankyou every single member of the cast and crew making it a magical experience!

User

White-washed, boring, at times inconsiderate and unbelievably overpriced rubbish. The songs are forgettable, the dancing was miss timed and it seemed that half the cast weren't interested in their own performances. Not to mention the theatre was half empty. It's abysmal that a production this lazy can charge so much for tickets. Avoid this show like the plague. It's an insult.

User

If you like elf movie, give it a miss. Apparently there are now 5 main food groups and it goes down hill ftom there. Other things that are missing:

NO Miles Finch

No shiny mail room

No missed kiss

"The code" has gone

No star on top of the tree

No snow ball fight

The chronology is wrong
