High end contemporary Elm clad steel staircase over two floors has a very unique feature. The triple laminated glass balustrade panels are suspended above the staircase treads and risers using a specially designed hidden clamping system. It has an amazingly elegant appearance due to the slender profile of the stair treads and balustrade.

Elite Metalcraft provided the stunning nickel plated handrail and balustrade to this luxurious refurbishment of a Kensington town house. A contemporary twist on a traditional style, the balustrade adds a subtle opulence to the 3 flight staircase clad in polished Italian marble.

A fantastic example of a monolithic helical staircase produced for a high-specification property in Wimbledon. The sweeping ‘Fibonacci curve’ layout of this stair tightens as it descends, accentuating the surfaces of the plaster-sided balustrade.

This is a traditional style helical staircase design spanning 5 floors of a totally refurbished Mayfair town house. The client commissioned a particularly refined staircase specification to compliment the opulent interior. Details included a solid Wenge handrail polished with a dark satin oil; a decorative mild steel balustrade with bespoke design, fabricated in mild steel and finished with a custom paint colour; polished Italian marble was used for both treads and risers which were illuminated with subtle feature lighting. Elite Metalcraft also provided an especially challenging plaster soffit which linked the curving helical stringer to the facetted stairwell walls.

Set in the historical St Katherine's Dock adjacent to Tower Bridge, this period house has been completely transformed into an extremely desirable contemporary residence. The main living room is greatly enhanced by the new dramatic cantilevered glass staircase which is constructed from Low Iron laminated toughened glass treads extending 1.3m from the wall. The glass balustrade is designed to float above the treads following the profile of the stair from top to bottom. This adds to the minimalist look and creates a new precedent in glass staircase manufacture. The total weight of the glass used on this project was just over 2 Tons.
