Had my auntie awake here , cared by the staff so much and food which was laid one was excellent service � defo hire the hall here again

We had our club presentation at Elite this evening. Staff helped us set up, room was clean and tidy, bar was well stocked with lots of staff behind the bar, supervisor came in on numerous occasions to check all was ok throughout the evening. To be honest I can’t fault Elite Venue based on our experience and the service we received and we would book again next year. Thank you x

Only here for the football and our U14s played on the Punjab Utd FC pitch nxt door giving subs & parents much needed shelter from the hot sun.

Nice pitch but grass was abit long and 18yd box markings were quite hard 2 see.

Good and minus parts about this venue , Bar staff brilliant , Great venue and just perfect for our needs, clearing up no problem. Have booked this place twice and will book it again. Downfall was I had booked for someone to decorate the hall , when booked was told that I could have the hall from the morning I recieved a phone call a couple of days before to state that I couldn't have it until the afternoon, luckily the person decorating the hall was ok with this . But when we turned up the tables weren't set up , then hastly set up so I couldn't have the tables set up the way I had already discussed to have set up , the carpet hadn't been hooved , we asked if they could hoover it or if they had a hoover we could use to do it ourselves and was told they didn't have a hoover, if I could find another venue that is perfect for wheelchairs , with a bar , where I could do my own food I may think twice but as very limited for choices

We booked this venue for a party exactly one year ago, contract clearly stated that we had access to the hall and kitchen from 9.00am on the morning of the party. We arrived at the venue at 9.15 and found the hall and the kitchen had been hired out to someone else. The owner was not on hand to explain what was going on and it was left to the staff to tell us to come back at 12.00. We get back to the venue and find the hall has still not been vacated for us to set up and the kitchen was still in use. We went in search for the owner cum manager who then proceeds to tell us to calm down he will sort something out, he tells us he will get his staff to help us clean up and set us. It was not our job to clean up, and he gave us one staff member to clean up and set up the tables and chairs, the staff member concerned was overworked as he had 2 other halls to set up and had to call on the security and bar staff to help him out. Absolutely disgraceful. As for the kitchen ..... we only got into the kitchen at 17.30 to try and get the food prepared for 200 guests at 19.00, at approximately 17.50 a lady came in from the hall next to us to ask us politely if she could please share the kitchen with us, we agreed, only to find out that the owner had taken money from 3 different events for the use of the kitchen. This is daylight robbery. He triple booked the kitchen double booked 2 halls and disappeared and left his staff to deal with all the mess he had created. The staff members on duty on 30 of September 2017 must be commended for a job well done. They had to deal with several angry party organisers and went above and beyond to help organisers set up, cook, clean and basically carry out damage control caused by the owner/manager. To the staff members well done and as for the owner/manager, kindly get your hiring system sorted and stop taking money from hard working people

Venue was freezing cold. One barmaid behind the bar for around 100+ guests so had to wait ages to get a drink! Crisps on the table literally means 3/4 packets of crisps plonked in the middle of the table no bowls! Also things promised to be put in place on arrival we’re not!

I wouldn’t give this awful run company a penny of my money look else where for a hall!!!

Unbelievably poor service and constant bad feedback heard... second experience at this venue and second time was worse than the first! Some staff there... well they need to come down a peg!!

The service behind the bar is the worse ever. Even at the start of a night before a function they have run out of stock. Worse venue I have ever been too. I’ve been to three functions now here and every time it’s been the same.

Shocking. Attended a wake today of a dear family friend along with 100 other people. There was only one person on the bar, so massive queue. There was no tea and coffee (as requested by the family), and the buffet was very small, not worth the £7 per head that the family paid upfront for 100 people. The tea, coffee and earn only made an appearance when the family complained. Oh yes, and they tried to charge £1 for tea / coffee too! The family also requested crisps on the tables, but the staff took this literally and put 2-3 packets on each table, no bowls! It was freezing cold in there too. All afternoon there was only one member of staff on the bar. It was if nothing at all had been prepared or considered for the bereaved family, they were just interested in taking their money. The only thing that made it nice was that we were all there to support the family and remember our friend. Other than that, this establishment didn’t give a flying f+++ about hospitality and the done thing. They should give the family all their money back. Shameful.

Rude miserable moody incompetent staff, lights couldn’t be turned off at the dance floor !! Pricey drinks.. told different timings by staff for room & bar open/close times .. won’t be hiring again

Poor management. Room not ready as organised. No one available to meet me to load fridges in the morning as agreed, nearly made me late for sons christening. Not enough bar staff, Terrible management, would not recommend it to anyone. Seriously find somewhere else !!!!

My family booked this place one year ago for my sisters 21st they gave us a call saying that they double booked us and so we went ahead and changed the date they also told us we can set up at 10 am on the 30th of September 2017 I was disappointed when we got the on 10 am to see they had booked it out to another family we where then told to come back at 12 and they where sorry and they would send people to help set up we came back at 12 still couldn't not set up when raising this with the man in charge he was extremely rude to my mother and the rest of my family so if you thinking about booking this hall think twice you will get double booking and rudeness so thank you elite venue for spoiling my sister big day

I was told there was someone in there before us so we couldn't dress it, it was agreed we would drop everything up in the morning and when the other people left they would put the banners up, sort tables out etc. We arrived to some chairs in rows, the bar wasn't open and there wasn't even anyone trying to sort it out. There bar man started half an hour after the party started, on his own and had to keep going to the bar next door. Then the coke and lemonade was flat even after being changed. We then couldn't order tea or coffee they said the urn would take half an hour, after half an hour they said they didn't have and tea or milk on the premises. The kitchen was a state there was plates piled up from the night before just sat there for over 6 hours. When I phoned for a refund I was told to email them, now after a couple of emails of them trying to tell me I got it all wrong they've decided to stop replying since I asked for a refund. Keep my money hire a cleaner you clearly need it. I will never be booking anything with you again absolute joke of a company, clearly took my money knowing full well you wasn't going to provide anything agreed.

Had my wedding reception on Saturday, welcome drinks were not poured when we arrived orange juice was out in polo styrofoam cups which was not what we asked for, table was blocking the fire exit which is illegal, pins and staples hanging out from the stage which ripped a few of my guest including my mums outfit and also cut my daughters leg, was told the room next door would be free so we could move our tables off the dance floor but that wasn't so had to wait for someone to tell us when it could be moved! My mum cleaned the tables and floor before we left and the security women Vicky came in and looked at the staples/pins in the stage and said she has informed them before this was not safe for guests, I spoke to jag he was very rude and shouting down the phone he then hung up on me and continued to ignore my calls, and is now saying that Vicky told him the floor was a mess and that we ripped it when we moved the table (staff member moved the table) absolutely disgusting will never be using this place again!!!! �

Had booked a year ago for my wedding venue for 28th July 2018. Put deposit down last year in May and told don't have to pay full till 2 weeks prior to party. To get a phone call last week they have double booked but can offer a much smaller hall. I go there to find out it has also been booked out but they was happy to move me there and then ring the other people to tell them they can't have the hall!! I wasn't prepared to do that to the other people!! I then got verbally abused etc from JAG who then said to go through legal advise to get my deposit back and that he was going to reverse this on me and get me done for harrasment even tho it was them that double booked my hall. I wasnt allowed my deposit back. Got it refunded after a battle. Only good that came out of it was I had changed my wedding date so has saved me from booking them for my wedding reception what a close call. Do not book if you want rude custom from the managers and the stress of arranging a hall so close to your actual date!! ����

Had booked a year ago for my wedding venue for 28th July 2018. Put deposit down last year in May and told don't have to pay full till 2 weeks prior to party. To get a phone call last week they have double booked but can offer a much smaller hall. I go there to find out it has also been booked out but they was happy to move me there and then ring the other people to tell them they can't have the hall!! I wasn't prepared to do that to the other people!! I then got verbally abused etc from JAG who then said to go through legal advise to get my deposit back and that he was going to reverse this on me and get me done for harrasment even tho it was them that double booked my hall. I wasnt allowed my deposit back. Got it refunded after a battle. Only good that came out of it was I had changed my wedding date so has saved me from booking them for my wedding reception what a close call. Do not book if you want rude custom from the managers and the stress of arranging a hall so close to your actual date!! ����
