About Elm Women'S Link

The East London Mosque Women's Link is an Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service for women and families.

Elm Women'S Link Description

The foundation of women's work in the East London Mosque was laid first in 1992. Local women visited the Imam seeking advice and religious counsel. Over the years, the number of women accessing the services of the East London Mosque grew, and to respond in a culturally competent way meant having dedicated staff that can relate to and provide vital support.

Services expanded from weekly advice sessions by volunteers to a full time project with experienced staff, which today is known as ELM Women's Link.

ELM Women's Link is a project of the East London Mosque and London Muslim Centre. The project aims to provide services that support and foster the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical wellbeing of Muslim women and their families.
