User

Popped in there today for a bite to eat, ended up having a full English breakfast. Wow what a treat. Staff very attentive to ones needs and couldn't be more helpful. Very welcoming of young children and accommodating. Food was excellent, good quality produce and tasted very fresh. Love chunky toast! Very good value for money, highly recommended. Will be returning.

User

Nipped in for a bite to eat with my husband, 2 year old and baby. Panini and sausage sandwich were lovely. Both opted for cheesecake (mars and ferrero) which were delicious. Vanilla milkshakes were thick and frothy.

Good selection on the menu and the staff were attentive and friendly.

The toys available proved a god send with a tearful toddler. Will definitely be back again.

Myself and all my family, from my youngest aged 3, to the eldest in her 80's. Absolutely all the staff treat you as friends, they're always pressed to see you and nothing is too much trouble- even when the kids are being a pain or I'm being extremely picky.

One example of this was last week when Kay overheard my three year old asking for a coffee, and while I was trying to explain to him why he couldn't have one, she surprised him with a frothy warm milk- his face was a picture and he loved it, he felt so special!

Another recent example was when I piled in with all three kids not long before closing and Angie still couldn't be happier to look after us, even when the kids were getting all the toys out, and constantly changing their minds what they wanted.

They also looked after me recently when I wasn't very well and needed to rest for a while, at no point did I feel I was in their way even though I must now hold the record for the person taking the longest to drink their coffee.

The food is also amazing. The cakes are heavenly, I can never choose which I want as there are so many fantastic ones to pick from, and the slices are so big I can never finish them. They're also happy to cook things as you like them which is fantastic when you're picky with things like bacon like I am!

All in all, I can't think of anywhere in Sleaford I'd rather go whether for a full lunch or breakfast or just a coffee and a smile.

User

My wife and I make a point of having lunch or just a cream tea at Emily's every time we're in Sleaford. Never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the service! Try it, you, like us, will just keep going back. Well done Kay and co.

User

Lovely little tea rooms. I've not tried the cakes yet, but really enjoyed my prawn sandwich. Their homemade Marie Rose dressing was gorgeous, really zingy. I will definitely go again

User

Lovely breakfast. Can highly recommend the signature french toast with crispy bacon and maple syrup.

User

I've only been once so far. As I normally go to costa but it was so busy I decided to try somewhere else. I came with a friend and our 2 daughters. We were greeted warmly and the service was lovely. We ordered a toastie, sandwich and 2 kids meals. All of which were very tasty. Prices are higher than I normally pay for lunch but the quality is worth it. Would recommend to friends and I would certainly come back again

User

I went in yesterday with my noisy 2 year old, and everyone was so friendly, they have books for the little ones, And they do the cutest mini-Chinos! He loved it! & the cheesecake was amazing!! Definitely be back soon!

User

I love this place try and go every week on my day off and have introduced quite a few of my friends to it also

The staff feel more like friends and nothing is too much trouble would definitely recommend it

User

I discovered this lovely place yesterday when I and 9 other ladies from a local WI visited for our annual afternoon tea outing.

Everything was delicious. The sandwiches were very fresh with a good choice, the cakes lovely and moist (and a gluten free option) and the scones were huge but so light, the first time ever I have been able to finish one, even with clotted cream and jam! They were perfect, and that's saying something from a member of the Women's Institute!! Lol.... I will definitely be returning, as I am sure the other ladies will do too. I am intrigued and looking forward to trying the before noon tea :-) thank you to you and your team.

User

Had a lovely afternoon tea there and they catered for my friends 4 year old daughter with her very own afternoon tea, she’s also allergic to egg which they catered for well. It was a bargain as well! Lovely customer service and a sweet little bakery. Thank you.

User

Enjoyed an amazing Scottish breakfast here yesterday, the cafe is beautiful, and the owner more than welcoming, cannot wait to return, would love to try the afternoon tea as it looked awesome! See you again someday.

User

Emily's Bakehouse is one of the most welcoming places I have visited. The freshly made cakes are soft and moist and come in a variety of flavours. The staff make you feel comfortable and are generous in their hospitality. Having visited other (more expensive & long established) tea establishments, there is nowhere I would rather visit than Emily's Bakehouse. I urge others to visit - I'm so glad you chose Sleaford - it is well worth a visit.

User

Absolutely love this place - great food & fab service in a very friendly atmosphere - thank you

User

Absolutely beautiful cakes and cheesecakes. We were very impressed with the service which was friendly and spot on.
