About Enfield Carers Centre

Enfield Carers Centre is a local charity offering support and advice for all unpaid carers in the borough of Enfield.

Enfield Carers Centre Description

Enfield Carers Centre is a local charity offering support and advice for all unpaid carers in the borough of Enfield. A carer is someone of any age who provides unpaid support to family or friends who could not manage without help. This could be caring for a partner, relative or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems. 1 in 8 adults are carers.
Anyone can become a carer at any time in their life. Every day in the UK 6, 000 people take on a caring responsibility.
There are 29, 000 unpaid carers within the Borough. No two caring roles are the same and no two carers are the same. We offer a wide range of services to allow all carers to have a life outside of caring and enable carers to keep caring.
We offer social activities, opportunities to meet with other local carers, relaxation sessions for some 'me time' and practical advice and information.
Enfield Carers Centre works closely with Enfield Council to deliver a high quality service for carers. Enfield Council supports Enfield Carers Centre both financially and with valuable information and resources. Find out more about the services offered to Carers in Enfield.
