User

Enjoyed staying here. Was out the way of the city, quiet and not far from the motorway

User

Comfortable room, friendly staff and good food

User

The staff at breakfast were very unhelpful. A couple on the table and the table next to us were brought a full English breakfast and were asked in a whisper if they wamt tea or coffee. We were not asked. The room was clean

User

The reception bar & eating area is nice but the rest of the hotel needs updating.

User

Room is fine, the pizza I just had was absolutely disgusting cannot eat it,Hope breakfast is better will be hungry in the morning.

User

Had my Daughters wedding there Food was good staff helpful and friendly rooms were in need of TLC especially the bathrooms which were tired with several bodge repairs storage needs a rethink as nowhere to hang a long dress

User

A decent clean hotel but the corridors were very noisy when people came back late as the heavy room doors tend to slam and the walls are fairly thin. The breakfast was mediocre, with cutlery that wasn't very clean and some of the food (particularly the bacon unless you dug to the bottom of the tray) was only just warm enough to avoid being stone cold.

Well the first night, I went to the Bar. The lady working at the bar had just come on duty and was totally embarrassed having to explain that she could only take EXACT cash as she had not been GIVEN ANY CHANGE TO WORK WITH.

I then went to watch the tennis in the alcove of the lounge.Guess what - NO SOUND. Neither of the staff at the bar or reception could help as they did not have the remote. So I asked reception to see the manager, which she said she would arrange. Well! Going into day three and still no sign of the MANAGER to deal with my request and the telly still has no sound.

On the plus side, I requested a fan from reception as it has been rather hot in my room which is not air conditioned, and this arrved when I returned from supper.

MR MANAGER, THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAIL. YOU ARE IN OVERALL CHARGE OF THE HOTEL AND THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS PART OF YOUR OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY.

Sorry but have to say this was one of the less enjoyable stays in London. I regularly stay in East London, but when my usual hotel wasn’t available I decided to try the Best Western Plus in Epping. The staff are friendly and welcoming. In fact I couldn’t fault them whatsoever. Meeting them was possibly the highlight of my stay.

Unfortunately the room left a lot to be desired. When you book a Best Western Plus, you expect a fairly decent standard. Whilst the room didn’t have air conditioning, it did have a fan, which was one of the only things which went for the room.

My room had chipped plaster under the window seal, marks & stains on the back wall where the wardrobe area was meant to be, the taps in the sink are on their way out and the shower head has such a bad amount of rust around the base of the shower head, I had to do a double take!

I’m quite glad I only booked this hotel when it was discounted to a 1/3rd if it’s original price. I would have been pig sick to have paid almost £150 for the room. I doubt I’ll be staying again.

No disabled toilet in bar or restaurant area, when we asked a member of staff they told us to, ‘go outside, come in through that door then go down the stairs.’ The building is not listed as far as I’m aware so I don’t know how they’re getting away with not having one. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything. The room is however clean and bed is quite comfy. Rooms are really stuffy but luckily they have windows that open so it’s a little cooler now. Decoration is a bit bashed up, dents in walls and few scuffs in bathroom. Bit of a nightmare navigating in and out of the lift and corridor with a wheelchair and I only just manage to squeeze into the door of our room (but I have got in so that’s a positive!)

User

Fairly basic accommodation in need of a bit of TLC which would make a difference. Dripping shower heads, re-touch paintwork etc otherwise clean and comfortable for a stopover.

User

Don't bother would rather stay in the ymca what a dump

User

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, brings a new meaning to Faulty Towers. Cold rooms appalling restaurant and carpets you wipe your feet on the way out. Avoid like a dose of the clap!!!!
