ESEM Express Cafe and Kebab is a family run Cafe /Kebab shop. We are situated on the High Street within the Town of Ware (Hertfordshire).

ESEM Express Cafe and Kebab is a family run Cafe /Kebab shop. We are situated on the High Street within the Town of Ware (Hertfordshire). Our business's position is located right next to the Post Office in town.

At ESEM Express we serve both traditionally English foods such as the fry-up and the Shepherds Pie as well as the best of Turkish Cuisine (in our opinion) the Kebab. We offer a large variety of both foods in which you can eat in-house and take-away or after 5pm (contents of the take-away menu only) have delivered to your front door. We have a variety of food on offer and these food products are all cooked to order as well as being prepared daily using fresh produce.
In our eatery we offer table service from early morning till 5: 30pm. After this time our bubbly cafe chef and wonderful waiting team leave to get fresh for the next day, so we begin to serve from our take-away menu only. But our customers are still more then welcome to eat within the premises (albeit self service) there-after. ESEM Express closes at midnight Sunday-Thursday and 1 am Fridays and Saturdays. With last delivery and takeaway orders 15 minutes before closing (subject to driver and food availability).
We have newly decorated our restaurant to the colour scheme it was when we first opened many years ago. We have also installed some very interesting prints of the town, illustrating it at different times during the past century. Please feel free to come and have a look for yourself.

As a family we have been doing business in the town of Ware since the late 1980's. Our connection with Ware started with the opening of our first business all those years ago, Crystal Kebabs (located in Amwell End), which is still run by the same family today. ESEM Express (formerly another coffee shop) was bought by us in 1998 in which we created what you see present day. ESEM Express is a hybrid concept of both a kebab shop and cafe combined in one. A kebab takeaway in which you can grab your morning coffee on the way to work, or come in for kebab after a night out and return in the morning for breakfast.

Having been in the town for many years we continue to get motivated by the familiar faces we have grown fond and accustomed too as well as being excited and welcoming to the new customers we serve.
Whether you come to us for your morning fry-up or your late night kebab, we look forward to serving you like we have done all the years we have been in service. We are proud as a family too have served the Town of Ware, as well as other neighbouring towns and villages (Hertford, Hoddesdon, Wareside and Stanstead Abbots etc) for over twenty years. Or as a customer recently pointed out we have been in business in town within two millenniums, two centuries, three decades and over 25 years.
