We're excited to announce our new Nike Football Camps with Chelsea FC Foundation. To celebrate, we launched the camps last week at the Chelsea FC Training Centre with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fran Kirby. The residential camps with optional English lessons will start in summer 2019 and are based Charterhouse School. My 15 year old had a fun time at the football camp at Lansing. She met some great friends, loved the food and staff. However I am giving this 3 stars because they totally under-delivered when it came to football and training etc. She said there was basically one day near the end of the week on Thursday where there was some legit training. Otherwise all they did was play games. She was very disappointed in that part. She was not the only kid that was upset by this. This was an expensive camp - kids from all over the world came, so the training should have been world class. But it wasn't. This has to be improved or the price needs to be substantially lowered to make it worth the cost. So if you're going just to meet other kids and have some fun, play some football, then go. But if you want some awesome, well thought out football training to really improve your game, this is not your camp.
