Evergreens Miniature Railway is a model engineering society. We have monthly open days giving train rides.
Evergreens Miniature Railway Description
5 inch gauge raised track and 7 1 /4 inch gauge ground level track.
7 1 /4 track is running and being extended.
400 metres of 5 inch gauge
Site is approx. 4. 5 acres in size
Opens to the public the last Saturday of each month from Easter to October.
Trains run from 10: 30 a. m. to 4 p. m.
There are steam, battery electric and petrol driven locomotives.
Day membership to ride as many times on the trains as you like is currently priced at £10 per family group of four, or £3 per person.
There is a catering van for hot drinks and food, cakes and ice-cream.
Car parking on site.
The railway is available for hire for birthday parties or private use.
