We first went to Everyman on Christmas Eve 2016 to see "It's a Wonderful Life". Amazing place and amazing service (Canary Wharf). We've loved returning and we take friends to share our new passion. We've also tried Everyman Oxted - a little smaller - also very enjoyable. We had given up going to the cinema due to customer noise, litter, poor seating etc, but Everyman restored our faith in what a cinema experience should be like. We have membership and want to enjoy the "bring a friend for free Mondays". Can't wait for our next outing!

My husband and I visited Everyman Chelmsford on Saturday night to see Avengers as our last date night before our baby arrives. I just wanted to compliment the lovely lady who sold us our tickets at the desk (unfortunately I didnā€™t catch her name). We were a bit late ordering our tickets and there was only one sofa left right in the middle of the cinema; I was a little concerned being heavily pregnant that I might need to get out to the loo during the film and would disturb other people. The lady on the desk kindly spoke with the duty manager and arranged for us to have the house seats on the aisle so that I could get out if need be and not risk disturbing others or tripping over their bags. This made such a difference to our visit and showed real consideration for her customers. Thank you!

Love the Muswell Hill Everyman. Staff really accommodating & friendly. Great screens & comfy seating, good facilities- food limited but good. I have injuries and was sat comfortably with a chair to rest my leg on plus blankets available to - I was able to access disabled seating. Staff helped me out. I've been three times in the last month (many times before as is my local) At Sicario2 a complementary glass of Wild Turkey bourbon on the rocks, slice of orange offered to film goes in the first week - awesome drink! This is a quirky, fun and special cinema with lots of character & great staff ļæ½ļæ½ Thank you!

I have been trying for many hours to find out if (a) Potato and peel pie soc. is on at Baker Street W1 on Monday and (b). What times itā€™s on. You would think I was asking for the moon. I refuse to pay all that money they want for a simple phone call so the only other option Iā€™ve got is to take a bus and two tubes to go there and ask myself. Itā€™s for a special occasion otherwise I certainly wouldnā€™t be giving myself all this headache!!!

User

Nice, quaint, cool little cinema. Not a great choice for a blockbuster like Infinity War as the screen is too small and volume low.

Would def come again as the Canary Wharf location is awesome but the high price doesnā€™t suit the average cinema experience.

Having a beer on a comfy couch is a nice luxury and might be perfect for a date night but wouldnā€™t bring the kids again.

If you want a night out in the city itā€™s a good choice.

But avoid if price and enjoying the movie are your major requirements.

My birthday treat which unfortunately I could not enjoy by the pure African heat contained within screen 4, the itchiest sofa iv ever sat on in my life (D3 and 4), red sparrow as a film I would recommend, word of advice, Donā€™t wear layers! Thank god there was alcohol! I thought I saw a mirage at one point!

Also staff not helpful and by the time I realised I could have had a burger brought to me they said it was too late as film about to start, even though I had made clear to the lady I hadnā€™t been here before and didnā€™t know how it worked.

User

I went to the Chelmsford branch and had looked at the photos online and was excited. But as we walked in and I sat down I had nowhere to put my drink as the lady next to me had a ice cooler for her wine and the tables are just big enough to fit them on. My partner had no space on his side either. The seats are basically the same size as a normal seat at any other place just without a arm rest in the middle of you and the people walking past constantly to take people drinks etc really gets frustrating after having to move your bag and drink of the floor cause there is nowhere eles for it. Over all I wouldn't waste my time and go again. At least at a normal cinimea you get a ice blast and you know the expectations.

I visited the Birmingham cinemas on Saturday to watch the 18.30pm Skyscraper showing, we got our tickets and went to the bar and ordered two drinks, some sweets & some popcorn. I paid with a Ā£20 and I was given my charge, whilst getting my change out the till a young lady with black hair who was serving me ripped the Ā£5 note change (by mistake) she panicked a little and then said oh itā€™s legal tender and that it would be fine, the show had started so I was eager to get back and thought nothing of it. I then tried to use it the following day and nobody would take it. As I work in the Mailbox I came into my office today and on my lunch I thought I would pop into the cinemas with the ripped Ā£5 note and let them know what happened. I explained what had happened to the manager and she stopped me in my tracks and stated that she did not believe me and that I basically lying and that it did not happen. I was honestly gob smacked at how rude and unprofessional she was, I then proceeded to say I was not lying and I even had the receipt for the items I brought on the Saturday which shows the change that was given but she did not want to know and kept saying she did not believe me & continued to be very rude towards me and spoken to me in a very rude and abrupt manner. I couldnā€™t believe I was being spoken to in that way, I would never speak to my clients or anyone for that matter in the way she spoke to me. In the end the manager didnā€™t offer me a new Ā£5 or even an apology she said she would tape it up for me and that was it. That will be my very last visit to an Everyman cinema and I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone. Very poor customer service skills for what I thought was suppose to be a high class cinema venue.

Everyman Belsize Park

I went to this cinema last night expecting the Everyman experience. Lovely decor, lovely service, etc.

The bar and reception area was bleak so we went to the restaurant next door.

The seats and decor amounted to some scatter cushions and the toilets were disgusting!!!! One was out of order and it smelt like old wee!!!!

They then turned out the lights while we were still in the toilets meaning we had to feelnour way out of the auditorium shouting that someone else was still in the ladies.

Oh and there was no one on reception to complain to.

All for the extortionate Everyman ticket price ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½
