We have just returned from Cycling Myanmar having experienced the holiday of a life-time and feeling humbled and privileged to have met so many lovely people before westernisation hits the country. Every aspect of the holiday exceeded expectations: great group of people, a fantastic guide (Naing, whose knowledge and passion for his country, religion, history, geography, along with a great sense of humour, brought the trip to life) and excellent organisation.

Days were filled with cycling (between 25Kms and 105Kms) and cultural visits. A hot air ballon trip over temples at Bagan was amazing and a three day beach break at Ngapali finished the holiday perfectly. Thank you Exodus and Naing.

User

We has such a great time on our recent trip with our fantastic guide I thought that I would share a little poem about it!

In Costa Rica Eduardo was our guide,

Showing us animals who liked to hide,

Up down and round we'd go,

Seeing friend and seeing foe,

Alejandro our driver all the way,

Not a lot did he say,

But joke, a poke, his super senses,

Birds he did spot where the forest was densest.

In the sky the vulture he was king,

Eduardo' excitement did make our ears ring,

Coffee to chocolate and sugar from the cane,

Rum will never ever taste the same,

Rice and beans every day,

For a change the other way,

A group of eleven on our bus,

Canny lot not making a fuss,

From far afield we came,

In this poem too many to name,

From states and kingdoms that are united,

Many cultures and differences we sighted,

From Germany, Albania, Canada and Malta

Our lot did it all, they did not falter.

Toucan, snake, sloth to shark,

The wildlife has made its mark,

On the zip, on the raft,

Wearing helmets, we're not daft,

From volcano to beach,

Quite far did we reach,

Bike ride the hardest, who's to say?

We'll find out...when we come back some day.

User

Thank you Liz Proctor for an excellent trip to Tuscany, you always added a little extra to every adventure.

We felt amongst friends from the first day, thank you for making Tim's 60th birthday so special.

User

Sitting in a Costa Rican bar at the end of our 2 weeks family tour of this beautiful country. It has been a pleasure from booking to this point. I can certainly recommend them. Next year we will be doing something more adventurous!

User

Just completed a week with Exodus in Italy. Great hotel and guide, good food, full itinerary and very decent price.

I'll consider Exodus again for future travel and I'll be recommending the company to other travellers.

User

Just came back from Walking in Madeira. Best week. The Guide Andre was very good.

User

I’ve done 6 Exodus tours and have 2 more booked. I really like the way they are run with local guides taking you to some of the lesser touristy areas. Highly recommend.

User

I've been on a Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar trip with Exodus travels and they were amazing! They organised everything from flights to insurance and their staff were knowledgeable and on hand to give advise on clothing, altitude sickness, vaccination and anything else. The guides they employ on the Kilimanjaro are very experienced and full of facts about the nature you encounter on this trek. And most of all, they are encouraging and cheerful. It is thanks to the passionate people at Exodus and their in-country team that I stood on the roof of Africa. I really look forward to me future trips with you.Keep up the good work!

User

I have now done 10 tours with Exodus. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone! Of course each tour varies due to location, content & other travellers on your trip but in my experience Exodus are superb. You will be hard pushed to find an adventure tour Company better than Exodus, I intend to do loads more with them!

User

I had a fabulous week in Sierra de Aitana at the beginning of March. If you like challenging walking in limestone country, and have a head for heights, wild flowers, and the delightful company of local leaders, this is for you. Jose Miguel Garcia and Jaime are excellent leaders with extensive knowledge of the history and culture of the valleys. Everything you've heard about Jose Miguel's sandwiches is true, even for vegetarians. Absolutely delicious.. Jaime will tell you all sorts of foraging wisdom, so you might be lucky enough to munch on wild asparagus and sprinkle rosemary flowers into your sandwiches. I was also lucky enough to see bee orchids along the way.

User

I did a fantastic week on a cross country skiing holiday (my first having done lots of downhill skiing) in Italy with Exodus the Christmas before last. Despite there being very little natural snow we were bussed to other areas and had a great time. The family run hotel we stayed in couldn't have been friendlier and met some lovely people in the group. Very good, experienced, fun and kind tour leaders. Looking forward to a 2 week trip again with Exodus this Christmas in Morocco. From the start good customer service, efficient and friendly replies to my emails.

Adventure tours are great ways to travel, especially if you are single.

User

Excellent trip to Everest Base Camp. Well organised, great tour leader and guides. Lovely hotel in Kathmandu- cannot fault a thing.

User

Currently on our honeymoon in Costa Rica on the discover Costa Rica tour and I can honestly say Erick and Juan are the best tour guide and driver I have ever had on a trip. They are amazing and the animals and wildlife we have seen in the last 4 days is unbelievably. They are so accommodating and due the hurricane we had to alter some of the itinerary but the experience they have made sure we had a even better option. My highlight so far has to be the sloth that just causally climbed down a tree at one of our lunch stops that was just awesome.

User

A company I have been away with twice and will be going again in March to Nepal. There holidays are well planned, benefit local communities and make the best of your time in these places. I trust them and will continue to use them on my adventures as the variety they have is brilliant

User

Just done the Exodus MIK Kerala cycle trip. It was very good, the routes are varied and quiet on the whole. The busy bits are safe and you just go with the flow of India. I certainly felt safer here than in UK on a bike.

Hotels were mostly good on the whole, the stand out bits are the safari jeep rides where we saw a leopard and several elephants in the wild along with many other wild animals and birds. The 36 hairpin bend climb is a challenge but was done by 4 of us, others walked it. The houseboat ride was very good and we had a bit of a party on the night. Swim in sea was warm. Great food and a good leader.
