The 19th Annual Garden Remembrance Service takes place on 5th December 2018.
Gates will open at 6pm and the service will start at 7pm.
The service lasts around one hour and, as usual, there will be warm drinks, mince pies and bread pudding afterwards if you'd like to stay around.
... This year's chosen charity is Child Bereavement UK and there will be collectors on the night ready to take your donations. Last year we raised over £900 for charity.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for joining us for our Memorial Garden Service on 6th December and hope you all enjoyed the evening and found comfort from the service.
We hope you all had a restful Christmas and we wish you a peaceful & healthy New Year.

The annual garden service takes place this year on Wednesday 6th December at the Albin Memorial Garden in Culling Road. Wrap up warm and join us for a festive celebration of remembrance followed by hot drinks, mince pies and Elaine's infamous bread pudding. The service starts at 7 o'clock, we will open the gates at 6.

We chose a beautiful day and location for a recent photoshoot, at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich.

It was the second anniversary of Barry's passing this week and he was obviously in our thoughts on that day, as he is in some way every day. There were plenty of comments and messages from friends and families that we have become close to over the years, at the firm, through this page and through other Facebook pages. In response Simon wrote the following and I will share it here:
"Thank you all for having us in your thoughts at this time. These two years have gone quick bu...t I feel that a lot has happened in that time. As a family we are all doing well and as a company we have continued to develop and I hope keep the high standards that dad set. The reception at Albins head office has been transformed into a more modern and welcoming open space with a special cabinet dedicated to Barry. And we have created a number of new beautiful individual chapels that are more private for our families. Those of you that we have looked after during this time of redevelopment I thank you for your patience and understanding. The building is about to undergo a new face lift with new windows and shop front and by the end of the year we hope to have started on the extension on the side of the building creating two lovely arranging rooms and a large service chapel as well as new office space. Myself and Jon spent 18 months managing our loss and keeping everything going and we are so grateful for the support of our incredible staff at Albins. The changes are what we have wanted to make for a long while and we are really happy with them and where Albins is going ensuring that the families we serve only get the best for their loved ones, we know Dad would love it and we remain so proud of him. God bless x"

We are delighted to announce that on Thursday 23 February 2017, Graham Cook, Manager of Albin International Repatriation, received a MBE from Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace for services to the armed forces . The Queen asked about his role and the importance of the work he carries out.
Graham, said ‘ The whole day was an amazing and unforgettable experience and to receive the award from Her Majesty was very special.’
Graham thanks all his colleagues and family for their support over the years.

With very much sadness we inform you that Maureen Barker passed away peacefully on New Years’ Eve, aged 70.
Many of you will have known Maureen from the Memorial Garden, where she had worked since its opening in 1999.
She will be greatly missed by us all at Albins.

Thank you to everybody who attended the annual garden service last night, you made it a fantastic evening full of hope and cheer. I think we had a record number of people, it certainly seemed like it, and we have raised over £900 for Child Bereavement UK thanks to your generosity.

Would like to thank Jon dyer (aka prince William as my daughter says he looks like ) sorry Jon ,Paul our driver and the rest of the team ,we were as a family were overwhelmed with how lovely and kind you all treated us you went above and beyond ,it was all the small touches that really made a difficult day that little bit nicer to bare ,like the white rose on the doorstep ,the water on entering the car ,after getting back to the wake all the guests were saying how very smart you all looked and how beautiful the cars looked ,you should all be very proud of what you all do ,we would thoroughly recommend you as a business ,also would like to thank mickey for the care and help he has given us what a lovely man ,10 stars Thankyou again x

We would like to say a huge thank you for making the funeral of my mum/nan Rosaleen Dalligan a very special day, you gave her everything she wished for and we can't thank you enough. Jon you done my mum/nan proud and so did all of your staff. You was with us from the start and the care and respect you gave to my mum/nan and us as a family will be forever in our hearts, we honestly cannot thank you enough. Xx

They were all truly amazing the way they treated my dad whilst in Chapel and our family during the arranging of my dad's funeral and superb on the day ...we were so happy that Jons youngest son Jon also played a big part in my dad's funeral and I am so grateful to him and his dad for asking me ..they are truly a cut above the rest

They did my Grandad (Ray Percy) proud in being a part of his send off. They were respectful, caring and made you feel part of the family. I had never arranged a funeral before but they really helped me & my family and gave the best service. The came back after to the wake to see photos of my Grandad and have a cup of tea with us. The level of respect they showed my Grandad was just incredible and even allowed us to visit him at their offices until the day of the funeral. Without them the day wouldn't have been no where near as special. Thank you � and have recommended to friends and will defo use you again in the future.

The respect they show to your loved ones is beyond belief. The small touches they add shows how much they care about your loved ones. The red rose outside the door of whose funeral they are doing, being outside their office to pay their respects as the cortege goes past. Barry would be so proud that his family are still conducting funerals with the utmost care and respect that he and his family always have.

The little touches really made the difference from the rose left outside my nans door, to the red carpet ready to get my family out of the hearse. I know my Nan would have been very proud thank you from the Harden/Graham family.

On behalf of my family I would like to say a HUGE thank you to each and everyone of you at Albins. With your help and support it made the day so much more bearable. Thank you to all the drivers for being so attentive, even the staff in general when collecting my grandad and planning the funeral as my nan came back in floods of happy tears �we honestly couldn’t have done it without you. You truly out done yourselves today especially in this heat.. absolutely amazing thank you so much. X�

Elaine at your Deptford branch was invaluable in helping my mum with arrangements and Mum has more than once commented on how Elaine has an almost magical way of opening her mouth and making Mum's worries or issues disappear by providing, sensible, helpful solutions and suggestions.

On the day itself Steve and his team were fabulous - respectful, thoughtful kind and helpful. Thank you for making a difficult day easier for all involved.

I want to say a very BIG THANK YOU for the wonderful service you provided for my Dad's funeral recently. The attention to detail was amazing. You looked after our family and friends from start to finish. When you arrived you were so attentive, the way you placed the flowers on the hearse, laid carpets by the cars, the bottles of water and tissues in the car, taking care of my disabled Mum, the flags that you placed on other cars so the procession stayed together. I was totally moved by the yellow rose that Dan left on Mum's doorstep. Throughout the time we were in Albins care we felt special. The memory box that was given at the end was so special. I want to say a very big thank you to Jo and Christine and the bearers. I would recommend Albins to everyone and if I could rate more than 5 stars I would.

I can't thank Albins enough for the beautiful send they gave my beautiful mum. They looked after us from start to finish. Huge thanks especially to Jackie Costin, Steve Bayley, Michael Thorpe, Paul Rutherford and to all the staff that work behind the scenes. You don't know how special you are. You are all amazing. We would like to say a huge thank you for making the funeral of my mum/nan Rosaleen Dalligan a very special day, you gave her everything she wished for and we can't thank you enough. Jon you done my mum/nan proud and so did all of your staff. You was with us from the start and the care and respect you gave to my mum/nan and us as a family will be forever in our hearts, we honestly cannot thank you enough. Xx

They were all truly amazing the way they treated my dad whilst in Chapel and our family during the arranging of my dad's funeral and superb on the day ...we were so happy that Jons youngest son Jon also played a big part in my dad's funeral and I am so grateful to him and his dad for asking me ..they are truly a cut above the rest

They did my Grandad (Ray Percy) proud in being a part of his send off. They were respectful, caring and made you feel part of the family. I had never arranged a funeral before but they really helped me & my family and gave the best service. The came back after to the wake to see photos of my Grandad and have a cup of tea with us. The level of respect they showed my Grandad was just incredible and even allowed us to visit him at their offices until the day of the funeral. Without them the day wouldn't have been no where near as special. Thank you � and have recommended to friends and will defo use you again in the future.

The respect they show to your loved ones is beyond belief. The small touches they add shows how much they care about your loved ones. The red rose outside the door of whose funeral they are doing, being outside their office to pay their respects as the cortege goes past. Barry would be so proud that his family are still conducting funerals with the utmost care and respect that he and his family always have.

Thank you so much Albins for the funeral you gave for my step dad I can thank you enough. You stayed in contact with us showed compassion and sympathy to our family. On the occasional time I come into Albins Shirley welcomed me with open arms said comforting words thank you so much. To the day of the funeral the undertakers where fantastic and the horses was beautiful.

Thank you for the beautiful send off carried out for my Nan Masie on Tuesday, as a family we all agreed how respectful and thoughtful you all were on the day. The little touches really made the difference from the rose left outside my nans door, to the red carpet ready to get my family out of the hearse. I know my Nan would have been very proud thank you from the Harden/Graham family.

On behalf of my family I would like to say a HUGE thank you to each and everyone of you at Albins. With your help and support it made the day so much more bearable. Thank you to all the drivers for being so attentive, even the staff in general when collecting my grandad and planning the funeral as my nan came back in floods of happy tears �we honestly couldn’t have done it without you. I wanted to leave a review and a thank you for all the help you provided my family in arranging the funeral for my nan, Alice Collins. Elaine at your Deptford branch was invaluable in helping my mum with arrangements and Mum has more than once commented on how Elaine has an almost magical way of opening her mouth and making Mum's worries or issues disappear by providing, sensible, helpful solutions and suggestions.

On the day itself Steve and his team were fabulous - respectful, thoughtful kind and helpful. Thank you for making a difficult day easier for all involved.

I want to say a very BIG THANK YOU for the wonderful service you provided for my Dad's funeral recently. The attention to detail was amazing. You looked after our family and friends from start to finish. When you arrived you were so attentive, the way you placed the flowers on the hearse, laid carpets by the cars, the bottles of water and tissues in the car, taking care of my disabled Mum, the flags that you placed on other cars so the procession stayed together. I was totally moved by the yellow rose that Dan left on Mum's doorstep. Throughout the time we were in Albins care we felt special. The memory box that was given at the end was so special. I want to say a very big thank you to Jo and Christine and the bearers. I would recommend Albins to everyone and if I could rate more than 5 stars I would.

I can't thank Albins enough for the beautiful send they gave my beautiful mum. They looked after us from start to finish.
