The story of Fab Papercraft
Hi I'm Ab and I run Fab Papercraft making and selling Vintage style stationary- decorative envelopes, postcards, note cards and some writing paper. I will also be making some lovely collages in different sizes. All with an eco-friendly approach.
I have always been creative, creating many collages some with a vintage style. Showing my love for some of the vintage styles of the 20th centaury. So I will be focusing on these 20th centaury decades- 1920...s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
Ever since I was a child I have wanted to live in what I would call the olden days. The time my Grand parents where Kids. 1920-1940s. I particularly enjoyed the style of the Art Deco era. Fuelled by watching Agatha Christie's Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot. This was the start of my love for Period Dramas 1910-1970 particularly 1920-1950. As I got older I was fascinated with the bright colours and patterns of the 60s and 70s. Still to this day some of my wardrobe resembles, the bright colours, patterns styles and themes (Bohemian and Hippie) of that era.
I love vintage travel and have travelled to many places. India being my favourite along with South Korea and Kenya. Still many more places I would like to visit. So some of my work will reflect my love of vintage travel.
I love the motto Make do and Mend from WW2. I have always been mending things and learning useful skills particularly as a member of Girlguiding. In resent years I have become more and more passionate about all things eco-friendly particularly recycling. So I am going to be making sure where ever possible my work including packaging is eco-friendly. So I will be wrapping things in recycled Kraft paper like a vintage parcel.

First big collage with lots of bright colours and some Indian style flowers, patterns and paisley design along with some peacock feathers. With a vintage 60s 70s theme.

Fab Papercraft will be launching in February. Making and selling vintage travel style- envelopes, notecards, postcards, collages and some writting paper. With an eco friendly aprotch to the buissnes. Focusing on these 20th Century decades- 1920s-1970s. More details about the launch to follow.
