Our Story is made up with all the wonderful guests who visit us and leave as family, and leave such fantastic reviews.. Recently we provided an junior experience for a wonderful and very educated little man Oliver.. His brother also joined the experience.. We are so proud and happy to learn the knowledge that comes from our young ones and their passion for birds of prey.. I stood educated.. Truely Inspirational.. We treated our son, already a bird of prey enthusiast, to a learning and flying experience and we could not have asked for more. Luce and Barry were so generous in their time, knowledge and information which made this a day to remember. So much more than a flying experience, Luce and Barry were so patient and encouraging to our boys whilst also being mindful of children’s needs/ ways. You have made our boy’s day and fuelled his love of raptors!! I have no doubt that we will return again for more future experiences with FEW. Thank you again for such welcome hospitality and fun.

Morning Sightings at various points goshawk, sparrowhawk, red kite common buzzard, osprey carrying nesting material.. Various behaviours observed Ect.. And such wonderful guests from all over the uk.. Next one again in July. (our 3rd) . I find it fantastic that education centre such as ourselves and co...nservationists join hands together.. Photos piling in from guests who joined us and Iolo on our raptor day. Uploading them now while i have good bandwith. Such a great day.. the second pic here made me giggle.. I was doing a presentation on owl anatomy. Eyes and ears.. And was showing guests how the rear of the owls eye can be seen visually in owls ear.. Iolo has a look inside a guests ear simultaneously lol lol pip the young lady was manning an eagle owl at that moment. Thankyou Louise and pip xx

We hope that everyone is safe after storm hannah swept through overnight.. We didn't sleep a wink due to the pumeling gales and rain up here on the hill, but happy to say the centre is safe no damage occurred.. However our thoughts are with the osprey project who had tree fall onto the visitor centre, but our thoughts also to monty and telyn who continued to protect and incubate their 3 eggs throughout.. Currently they have no power.. But all seems well and open to visitors today.. Our Internet is intermittent presently, we have some wonderful photos of our recent experiences and also from our Iolo raptor day.. Which i will try to upload today.. What a great day it was for all Again hope is all well for you.. Lots of love from all at FEW xx
