Our official meat suppliers are Pak Mecca. The reason why we chose them is because they have been observed performing the ritual of slaughter according to Islamic law by reputable scholars. We felt it is our obligation to carry out intense research into who we would use as our meat suppliers. They are the only reliable source of Halal meat suppliers we have come across in our research. Unfortunately we found during our research that a lot of meat suppliers are very cavalier with their approach of Halal vs Haram..
Fayrouz Lounge is one of the few remaining shisha lounges that supply natural lemon & orange coal. The reason we don't supply coconut coal is that although it gives more smoke initially - it actually burns the shisha much quicker and changes the taste. It would be much cheaper for us to use coconut coal however we want to be true to our roots and to shisha lovers.
