Large double garage completed this afternoon that we’ve been working on for the last couple of days at the Victoria Tavern, Hogsthorpe.
Once we’d stripped off the old roof, we found the firing pieces were rotten and the whole sub structure was running the wrong way, away from the gutter.
Over 100 metres of timber was added to elevate the roof deck, and new firing pieces were installed to ensure our new system drains nicely. Lots of hard work to get the levels correct, and e...ach timber was measured and cut individually to level out the sub deck.
