We’re pretty sure this event hasn’t passed you by but if you’re not aware yet, the Heathcote is reopening this week which is a great result for the area! Rob and Steve of the Star Group are old friends of ours so we’re excited to welcome them and their team to #E11 and look forward to being neighbours in the very near future. You can also catch Simon Filly Brook dj’ing at the The Heathcote and Star launch party this Thursday night so come say hello.

Apologies to everyone for the lack of updates recently but we are still very much busy behind the scenes. We have finally been able to remove all the planning conditions placed on our initial successful application which means we can now move to finalise the plans and last bits of funding. Sadly the delays mean we won’t be open this side of Christmas but we’re as keen as you are to get the doors open so thanks to everyone for their continued support. FB

More Filly Brook news to come soon but in the meantime there's just time to tell you we're hosting a pop-up FB bar at this weekends Sample event at the Urban Village Fete on Greenwich Peninsula. We'll be there both days and pouring some cracking beers from The Kernel Brewery, Brew By Numbers and The Five Points Brewing Company plus some great wines as well. Loads of other food, fashion, art, design and music stuff happening at the event too.

UPDATE: Sorry for the continued silence but we are making progress with Filly Brook v.2. We received initial planning permission and licensing approval earlier this year and have been working hard since then removing some conditions placed on the consent whilst also concentrating on raising the finances and finalising the plans. Sorry to keep everyone waiting, it's taking longer than we hoped but we are aiming to be open before Christmas. We look forward to welcoming everyone very soon... FB

Saturday has an international flavour with Fly By Night Music boss Lorenzo Bandiera bringing his influences and inspirations to the Filly Book turntable. Expect it all from this Italian legen...d.
On Sunday Filly Brook gets taken over by the home-brewed E11 collective of Fabien, Budr, Davey J, Jim, Matt and Simon. This renowned tag team of DJs regularly grace turntables around London, most notably at the excellent Brilliant Corners in that strange, far off land known as Dalston...
Plus we'll have the usual selection of fine food, delicious coffee and excellent ales, wine and spirits to keep you fuelled for the full three day weekend... :)
