Travelled from Mid Wales for the Community Festival. What a great atmosphere, everyone friendly and just enjoying themselves. Well organised- stayed in Travelodge to save hassle of tube/train late and after event, quick and easy

Originally from Sheffield where we have parks coming out our ears and relocating to London in the summer. I visited Finsbury for the first time yesterday and I love it! Back again today with the pooch and loving the home away from home feel with lots of green space, which I didn't think I'd find in London.

Love this park! Great facilities for sports and being active. A nice vibe amongst the people too.

Nice park with a lot of activities - street fitnes, good for jogging, basketball, tennis... I can recommend it to anybody.

Loved the small lake with boat hire which fits four people at a time. Enjoyed the whole time in boat with geese n swans. My friends fed the geese by having some grains on hand n omg they were so used to people that they swiftly gulped the grains pecking the hand. My first boat drive n enjoyed every bit of it. Worth trying! Worth checking groupon for any reduction of price, still it's worth the full price.

Love the park, the area, the people! Best place to live in London hands down.... Local football team is also the best in the world from what I have heard

I've been living in Finsbury Park area for 10 years, I arrived in London in 1987 and I lived in every borough and areas from zone 1 to 5 and To be honest Finsbury Pk is the place where I really felt to be at " home" ..., love it!!!!

I'm still exercise-averse at the moment but having been given a firm push to this by a life coach I benefit from the benefit of mood lift and they're genuinely a good bunch who I'm getting to know socially. The exercises aren't too difficult, the hardest part is getting started early in the morning if you're used to a more leisurely start early in the day. The leaders are excellent, and there's quite a few 'ladies of a certain age' which suits me fine.

I was born and bred in Islington i've always supported Arsenal I have seen some changes over the years Islington is becoming a yuppie area the park is somewhere to go to walk your dogs or Feed the ducks with the grandchildren they have a lot of concerts various groups which sometimes can be a nightmare as they close loads of roads and if you live here you would know what I mean

I think Finsbury Park is perfect it has all the essential + it's accessible to all who live in around the park it has a warm and welcoming little cafe with toilets drinking area for dogs is very animal friendly with a beautiful little duck pond with boats to rent it also has running track, tennis, skate boarding basket ball, fun fairs and festivals through the back holidays n summer's it's looks on to Finsbury Park tube n bus station. I think I can say quite confidentiality I recommend Finsbury Park. Kind regards

I have lived in Finsbury Park all my life.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful park on my doorstep.

Areas of it could do with cleaning up but it is a truly wonderful family and dog friendly place to spend time.

I grew up in Islington and I've seen many changes over the years. Highbury us one of my favourite areas and Finsbury Park is great on weekends it's buzzy and lively with runners and I do yoga here sometimes a lovely vibrant green park ! :)

Came from Middlesbrough to visit friends. Attended the Park Run on Saturday morning. Got there quite early to figure out the route and the park was buzzing with people! It was lovely to see! The park was really well looked after and people super friendly. The park run was one of the best I've ran! Super tough! Enjoyed!

A great green space obviously well supported by the community. Fantastic transport links and super efficient staff whilst attending the community festival

I am fond of Finsbury Park and take a long walk in the park every day. I like it dearly but wish that more dog owners would clear their dogs shit. Besides that the park is a wonderful experience.

From what we saw the area was good enough however the KFC opposite the Irish pub was rubbish it was supposed to be open till midnight, when we queued (23.25) in there they chucked us out saying they had no more chicken yet there were 2 visibly full trays of chicken!

We have lived opposite the park for over six years now. It's a great park for walks, excercise or just hanging out. There's a lovely lake with ducks and swans and you can rent a small rowing boat.

The front of the park near the entrance could definitely do with a clean up, as well as picnic area (with amazing amphitheater), but the rest is ok.

I use playground with my boy almost daily, which has great facilities, but are not maintained well sadly. Play Units are often broken and just patched up rather than fixed properly.

The Cafe next door is excellent, food is fresh and varied, dining room spacious and very kid friendly.

The Cafe in the Park on the Manor House corner has a great atmosphere, is kid and dog friendly, you can sit outside while it's raining.

Overall a great local park.

We had a great day at the park with our dog🐾

The oark is bigger than big😜

So it needs more room for food and drink places😎

Also a special drinking place for dogs are welcome👍🏻

We have a nice drink but you need more spots there🌤🍂🌿🐕🐾
