I just love this living room with specialist plaster, to add texture and depth, surrounding the gorgeous open fire with antique fire dogs. The shelves framing the fire are made of reclaimed railway sleepers from the local Yorkshire railways and the beautiful polished concrete floor gives a nod to the working history of the barn Heavenly!
This semi-detached, 4,500-square foot Victorian listed townhouse, owned by a renowned art collector, is located in the centre of Harrogate, ...North Yorkshire. This project was a full renovation with a modern link between the main house and the barns.
I wanted to create a seamless and lavish, yet cosy feel. In order to integrate this type of ambience, the three separate barns were converted into an open plan living and dining area with an upstairs guest suite, home office and playroom.
