About First Love Foundation
Since 2010, we've helped thousands of people in London's most deprived borough, Tower Hamlets, get their lives back on track.
First Love Foundation Description
No money + no food = crisis.
First Love Foundation works in partnership with a wide range of agencies across Tower Hamlets to reach out to those who find themselves in crisis - be it bereavement, sudden illness, debt or benefit delay.
From the moment someone walks into Tower Hamlets Foodbank, we sit down with them to listen to their story and find out why they are facing crisis in their life. We make sure they leave that same day with more than just food. Through our Advice and Support Project they leave with the start of a solution. By working with our partners, we provide support to those who need it, helping them get back on the path to sustainable and independent living.
We rely on donations and other gestures of goodwill from the community - be it through supermarket collections or donations of food from churches, organisations /local businesses, schools and individuals. If you'd like more information about making a donation or volunteering, visit our website.

It was really amazing meeting with the lovely shoppers at Sainsbury's Whitechapel yesterday as we held our #LoveChristmas collection. Every item of food donated will help provide support to those across #TowerHamlets who will be struggling this Christmas.
