My mum, sister and I just popped in for something to eat and I have to say the experience took me completely by surprise! The atmosphere was great and EVERY single member of staff including the security guard were brilliant (which I find these days is very rare) all very smiley, polite and very very accommodating. Genuinely a really nice couple of hours and the food was really good too. The managers name I think was mark, he was so nice and good natured and obviously treats he’s staff well as they all seemed very happy to be there.

Always a good night out

Great pub, great food and great staff. Only downside is no disabled toilets, but it's a listed building, and becky and I were only staying in a hotel around the corner, so this was not a problem

Good food, good drinks nice atmosphere. We will come back

Excellent atmosphere and food, amazing student nights!

Excellent Thanksgiving meal. Turkey was juicy and properly roasted. The staff were very nice too.

Come here often. The only thing that puts me off at lunch time is the music being to loud to have a decent conversation.

This pub seems unable to make up its mind as to what it is. A bistro pub or a sports bar.

Used to come here for lunch and/ or dinner for business and leisure. Not so much since the 3 large screen TVs arrived. Rather excessive for the size of the pub.

Shame, as the food is normally excellent. Except the 'roast pork' Sunday lunch which is sliced ham. And I'm not talking roast gammon!
