Researched all the clinics, read all the reviews before settling on Focus and have not regretted it. 1 day after the op I had better than 20/20 vision which I was informed 'for someone with my prescription is remarkable' 1 week on my vision is still as good. Downsides were (if one can class them as that): it is pricey, but you really don't want to be scrimping on your eyes / the anaesthetic drops stings, although surprisingly you get use to them / and I would recommend taking a week off work rather than heading back to work the next day, as the sheer number of drops you have to put in at regular intervals makes it hard keeps tabs of if you have a busy/demanding job. My optician recommended that if I was going to do laser eye, I got at least three opinions from different providers before going for it. I drew up a shortlist and booked in for two high street brands and Focus. The difference in the attitude of Focus was obvious from the start - no marketing tricks, no pushy salespeople, and sufficient time and care taken to do the pre-op tests. Unlike the high street brands, Focus is cautious and considering, and when considering surgery you want caution not cowboys!!

I was incredibly short sighted (-10.5/-11) and could never read all of the bottom line of test chart with glasses or contacts. Now I can read the bottom line clearly and there has been no degradation of my vision clarity. Cannot recommend Focus enough!
