we had the most amazing Xmas yet again thanks to Forman and Field - everything from the Turkey to the Cheesecake was incredible. Every year we have a Formans Xmas lunch and this was the best ever - we loved the sauces, the turkey was also of fantastic quality - and the best mince pies in the world - a very happy family of ten thanks to all you do. loved it! thank you so much for brilliant food that you just cant buy elsewhere - thinking of our Easter meal next and searching the list of delicious options for that next amazing Family Feast. Great place. Food and drink outstanding. We visited on the open day recently but we have been to the restaurant and bar before. My 7 year old even calls it "Paradise". He loves smoked salmon as much as we do!

Amazing products and prompt delivery. Ordered lots of stuff for a Christmas do and it went down very well, especially the smoked salmon. Also ordered stuff for Valentine's Day and couriers delivered in an hour timed slot (with text updates).



It is on the expensive end of the market but worth it for a rare treat.

I have ordered from Forman and Field a few times over the years, and have given them numerous second chances as their brochure is well presented and tempting. But sadly I have been disappointed more than I have been happy. Their products are expensive but you evidently don't always get what you pay for as, to my palate, I have had as good, or even better, equivalent products for a fraction of the cost at Waitrose and even the Tesco Finest range. The potted Lobster was a particular recent disappointment and how The Spectator gave it a 5 I will never know.

Got my first order last week. I found it a bit of a mixed bag. The chicken liver parfait was excellent as was the champagne sauce. Also looking forward to the truffle butter. The welsh rabbit topping was very tasty



Very disappointed in Mrs King's pork pie which had thick tasteless pastry and equally tasteless filling. Threw away the potted shrimps because of the oily butter surrounding the shrimps.

Every previous order from F and F has been fantastic and delivered with no problem. But not this year. Another saga of late and missing stuff. I can accept that couriers can be unreliable but F and F has control over how it responds and the response has been abysmal. I have made 3 complaints and still not had anyone call me back. The person at the end of the phone yesterday appeared clueless and couldn't give me any idea how long it might take for someone to come back to me.

once again, another poor example of customer service. My father ordered a delivery specifically for yesterday as he was leaving today to see family. It has yet to arrive and the staff on the phone were incredibly unhelpful

- 2 representatives promised to phone back with alternative delivery options and failed to do so. They seem unable to grasp the seriousness and are refusing to promise a refund to an elderly gentleman money he could do with. He will be returning to Inverawe and Weald smokery for presents in future.

it’s nice produce but unreliable from a delivery perspective. We paid £10 for delivery and they could not deliver on the correct day, what a shame. Perhaps go back to basics.

Well it seems I’m not the only person still waiting for their delivery today. Very easy to blame the courier company but judging by these comments I would say it’s F&F’s complete incompetence. Finally managed to get through and speak to someone - who told us to cross our fingers, hope and pray for delivery tomorrow but with no promises. When asked if they would at least email us to keep us in the loop all we got was a resounding ‘No’! You have our e mail addresses so why not? Unless you sort this out this is the last time I order through you, a shame as your food is amazing but your delivery and customer service shocking! We will have wasted two days waiting in and without any certainty for tomorrow. 15 people coming for supper tonight - and no supper to serve. I presume Forman and Field that you will be refunding us all for your inefficiency and incompetence? Suggest you at least put a message on your website so at least your clients have some idea as to what is going on?

We are sitting here on Xmas Eve waiting for the substantial Xmas order to arrive. Despite numerous phone calls nothing has materialized. My sister who made the order has had to make a late night dash leaving her family party to get to a supermarket. This has caused her huge stress and she finds the lack of concern by this company truly astonishing. She is considering her options and her rights in this matter and expects substantial compensation.

Very poor. Ordered some speciality pies 05/12 for delivery 12/12. This was delayed for some reason and sent back to them called and they said will definitely Be delivered 18/12. No delivery so called again and was told delivery will be 23/12 and a new courier is making all the previous missed deliveries. No delivery again and now they are closed. Horrendous service and amazingly poor customer service.

The service is shockingly poor. I placed an order on the 6th Dec for delivery 22nd Dec. It hasn't arrived and I can't get hold of anyone to speak to about it. The telephone number on the website is apparently only for orders. The number given to me for 'head office' doesn't pick up, I have tried for 2 hrs yesterday afternoon and 2hrs this morning. The 'order' supervisor I spoke to said she would have head office call me, they haven't. I have emailed twice and no repsonse. Failure to deliver is bad, not being contactable when you are a service is inexcusable.

Same story as others have reported on this site. Ordered £350 worth of food at the beginning of December for delivery on the 22nd (hamper + load of other stuff). On the 22nd the hamper arrived but none of the additional food. Phoned the company (twice) and was assured I would be called back. No-one called. Rang again this morning (23rd) and was told it was a courier problem, and that all would be delivered today. Phoned again at 18.30 to be met by total inability to deal with the issue - Customer Services (who the hell was I talking to then?) would apparently ring me within 24 hours!! Pretty useless as we wanted a lot of the food for Christmas Eve. The company can blame the couriers no doubt for the botched delivery, but that doesn't account for their abysmal customer service. This is supposed to be a high-end company, presumably servicing relatively well-heeled customers. Quite extraordinary! - I shall be seeking a refund and compensation, and certainly won't be dealing with this utterly incompetent concern in the future.

Order arrived 23dec, someone’s order in the box, contacted Forman and field, rude unhelpful staff, suggested we sort ourselves with lady in Rotherham who has our order, Christmas ruined and no offer to sort or any hint of sort!!! Mums so stressed about this, this was supposed to a special Christmas- will be taking this further - do not use this company. Shocking service, tried to blame the couriers! The delivery was a day late, but the couriers don’t pack the boxes do they!!!!

After half a delivery turned up, with the second half promised today (obviously not turned up) nine phone calls were made to the company with a promise every-time of a response. Eventually on the last call he received a call back, from the chairman.

To say the man has all the charm of Piers Morgan is a joke. He was going to personally drive the order down but when he found that as no one had called back in 36 hours and so my parents had been to Waitrose to buy a ham his response was “well you might as well go there and buy everything else!”

I would keep him away from customer service as that seems to an alien concept to him. But it does explain the rest of the companies attitude.

After nearly 20 years custom this is the last straw and we as a family will never use them again

Useless company. Rude and useless owner. Doesn’t deserve our business

Delivery scheduled for today 22nd people coming tomorrow and over Christmas. No delivery, no contact, in short nothing!!!!



Ordered on the 22 of November so they had plenty of time, no doubt they will blame the couriers. How these people stay in business for so long baffles me, they are the most incompetent food suppliers I have ever dealt with. It is my fault I suppose as this is not the first time they have let me down.



It will definately be the last though as I will never use them again, Waitrose for me next time!! I suppose if I was Boris Johnson I would have got my goods by now!!
