Took a bit longer than they told me to regas my aircon but all seems okay.
Contrary to the other reviews here, had two tyres and alignment done. Very busy on a Saturday so had to leave the car which was inconvenient but not a massive problem. Price good, service good, car drives better, and doing more mpg. I think getting enough good staff is a challenge; Manager was ridiculously over stretched and I'm not sure the team are with him. Anyway, my experience was fine.
Booked a service online which was easy. Dropped car off at 8.30am as requested. Was told I'd get a call regarding the progress and anything additional needed. This was received at 10.30am and the explanation of work needed was clear and the cost explained. A second phone call at 12.30pm said the car would be ready at 1pm - and it was. Friendly staff and great service - in all respects. Will return.
Always been very good cheap tyre s and good service very happy with place a few off sick Wednesday so had a couple of hours to try to waste but we all get ill would of been 5 star if it was quicker
Very good price. AM fitting time which could not be kept owing to staff absence therefore had to return late in the day. Wheel trims were smashed back into place thus damaging/misaligning the plastic clips that hold the retaining spring of the trim onto the wheel. Had to tweak a bit here and there to ensure they could be refitted correctly. This has happened to me before (but not at Formula 1) so I would suggest you take your trims and refiit them yourself!!

I have used this branch for last few MOT's and was generally happy. This time however there was an issue getting my bonnet open. I got a call from the office to inform of this. I gave exact instructions on how to do it (sticky catch) but instead of listening, he kind of spoke over me and didn't heed my advice. Get a call a few mins later saying that they couldn't open it still. I went back and went to the car with a mechanic. I did exactly what I explained to do on the phone and... Hey presto, bonnet was open. This delay meant it missed it's slot and was 3 hours before it was fit it. Not overly impressed.
I booked my qashqai in for a MOT and full service. Good initial price for both. Found them to be good as they called to advise me that my service needed additional requirements which allowed me to check the Nissan service schedule. They were correct and indeed I had overlooked these requirements. I found them to be good overall and I say good as with most service centres you get the service checklist tick sheet but at F1 you get a typed up list of what is a Full service? They also went on about moving the wheels around as the tracking was out. I found no wheel movement at all. The tracking reports given to me stated the tyre alignment was out. Not explained or typed details just two pictures one with my vehicle scribbled on it? Next time I will need to do a price comparison with Nissan, F1 and Halfords. Maybe the dealer price would not have been that far off. It was a rush job booking with them as I muddled up my MOT dates. So got the service done at the same time. Oh and just a little point can the fitters ensure the rub the steering wheel over prior to giving it back to the customer. Slightly grubby.

Just had mot.... when I looked at the paper work it’s said car failed on two things.... but over the phone been told at least 10things and quote £1000 for it! Very over priced and liars! Took it somewhere else... been told it had just only passed on mot and gave him the list of what f1 told us, he said there is nothing wrong with it, f1 just want to rip people off as usual! Never again! Go with family business!
If you want sub standard work and mechanics that don’t give a Damn about your pride an joy then go to formula one, I had a major service done 3 weeks ago and I stupidly trusted them to know what they were doing but clearly not.. I had my cam belt done yesterday and my mechanic (German specialist that knows what he’s doing) pointed out all the shoddy work that had been done on the service.. over filled the oil by a lot, broke the air flow meter plug, didn’t put the cold air filter clip on properly or place the steering fluid reservoir plug in the correct position, and couldn’t even be bothered to wipe the oil filter, they don’t check any of there work after, ie oil and ball joint that didn’t need replacing ended up being the main hub nut which I found the next day as the whole wheel had a lot of play in it, an if you try an take it back the manager Alex will come out with alsorts of pathetic excuses an try an get out of it instead of being professional and apologising and rectifying the issues! I will not be going back there again !
Colchester, Manager was rude and belittling. booked in MOT but said he was too busy to do it, wasted my time and wasn't helpful, when asking for a refund for the MOT that had been booked and paid for in advance told me not his problem seemed like he didn't want to be at work. Also made some other derogatory comment when I was leaving. Clacton branch however are fantastic wish I had gone back to them.
