Went to Chelmsford. Really nice food and good service. The restaurant was clean and tidy.

Me and the family had a great breakfast and a great waitress serving us as the food was good but service was even better. We were greeted with a smile and had been served very quickly so all in all it was very good

Had a great evening last night celebrating my birthday with friends. The food was plentiful and delicious (as always), our waitress was amazing, so friendly and helpful & the cocktails were obviously fab. I've taken my sons for dinner on occasion too as a treat for them and we've never been disappointed. Always great service and lovely food. Not been for breakfast yet, but hoping to do so sometime. Thank you for lots of great memories. Tx

Fantastic all round...The food was served really quick, and it was fresh and hot! We really enjoyed it!

Always like it here...good cheap food , good service and even though big party on restaurant and warned that we would have to wait, the food still came out quick.

We had a good evening the Chelmsford F&B,served by a lovely Polish Lady, would have been a 5 star but for the wait to get seated, the man at the door said he needed to give the chef a chance on a busy night, but he could still have seated us at one of the many vacant tables, then delayed us on ordering, just seems like a ploy to get you buying drinks in the bar area.

Waited over half an hour for breakfast. People who came in after us were being served before us. The Manager was good though, apologetic and halved our bill.

Didn’t think the food was very nice. Sorry.

Waited 45 minutes for our food tho the place was empty chips were hard if there been 're cooked I have never seen mushrooms so small... service was slow even tho not busy

The service was good, it was a shame the food we ordered was only just warm enough.

Just popped in for a coffee for my good lady and a 'hot'chocolate for me,(Chelmsford one near the army and navy)

Her coffee was 'ok',so not great.

I was asked did i want squirty cream on top of the 'hot' chocolate(there was only one hot chocolate to choose from on the menu)which i thought was a strange question as im sure it came with it anyway! So it arrived without the malteasers that should of been with it,so i had to ask for them.

So a minute later when they turned up i tucked in,they were soft as mallow,disgusting!

Then i had to drink my 'HOT'chocolate straight down cos it was cool,not hot!!

Needless to say, we won't return.

Very disappointed. We went here for my sons 13th birthday meal. We waited for a long time before our meal arrived people were being served their meals although they arrived after us. When mine and my hubbys meal arrived the chips and onion rings were cold we returned both meals. When our meals were bought back yes we had fresh hot chips and onion rings but our steak, mushrooms and tomato had obviously been left on the side as these were now cold whilst fresh chips were cooked. Our children had almost finished there dinner so we just ate ours as it was and left. We will not be returning �

Totally awful experience for breakfast! The food was cold and tasteless, eggs not cooked properly... very tiny amount of baked beans... overly priced and not good value. We were staying at the hotel next to this place, so we decided to have our breakfast here... never again. The service was not great and the waitress never bothered to ask if we wanted a re-fill on our tea/coffee.

So overall would not reccomend this place for breakfast... to be honest i will never be returning to this over rated chain again.

The outlet at the Army & Navy Chelmsford by the Travelodge - didn't eat there as could see the kitchen staff outside smoking endlessly and dropping their ends on the floor. One had a blue glove on and I am pretty positive that their hands would not be washed or the blue glove replaced. It is not fair to other staff for the smokers to get more breaks and it is pretty disgusting that these nicotine stained hands will handle food.
