Our friends at Copeland Park are having a roof party this Saturday.
The last rooftop party is a fundraiser for Peckham Festival. So although its not on the number 1 rooftop in London (naming no names) they’re going to have a top lineup of DJs such as BBZ and Fruite to round off a great summer on Rooftop D of Bussey.

Celebrating 10 years this year, Bold Tendencies is a non-profit creative arts organisation based on the upper floors of Peckham's multi-storey car park. Having commissioned Frank's cafe as its first architectural commission in the summer of 2009, Bold Tendencies continues to commission performances ranging from art and dance to poetry and classical music concerts.
We are excited to invite you to The Colour Chemists – our FREE children’s art exhibition, curated by kids, for ki...ds on our rooftop site. MY MUSEUM is an exhibition and project space run by Bold Tendencies where children take the lead. This years on-site exhibition has been realised in collaboration with students from local primary schools on the theme of colour inspired by our commission to Simon Whybray, the pink staircase "hi boo i love you". Pop in to visit the exhibition Fridays 2–4pm and weekends 11am–4pm to see their wonderful work and take part in interactive stations our young curators have made. We also have some FREE workshops coming up for kids to get involved (recommended 5–12 yrs), exploring what happens when we play and engage with colour. Come and join artists from Bold Tendencies and musicians from The Multi-Story Orchestra for these free workshops! Sign up by emailing info@boldtendencies.com See you soon!

Unique place

Have told all my friends

User

The best view of London from the coolest place in London

User

Tasty food, cheap beer, friendly staff, great views of London. All round fun day out.

User

Never heard of the place until yesterday but it was an amazing atmosphere friendly staff and security I would recommend it to people for a place to go

User

Lovely venue with such a great view! Been several times and always enjoy my time here!

User

Literally the best staff ever the bouncers and so polite and fun ❤️❤️ wooo hoola hoop forever

User

I love Franks!

User

Great sunset and food!

User

Great place great view great atmosphere great food and drink

User

Great meeting place for groups of friends. Great atmosphere.

User

Great food, great stuff and great views!

User

Great atmosphere, great food, great view! Known about this place for ages and just hadn't got round to it, wish I'd gone sooner! 10/10 would recommend

User

Fabulous views, great for a summer's night out enjoying an evening breeze. Best drinking hole in London.

User

Fabulous experience and the view of London is fantastic. Happy memories.

User

Cool vibe cool people cool place

User

Awesome bar! Worth going up there just for the panoramic views of London. Cool place!

User

Amazing view, beautiful place and cool place to stay with friends!

User

Always love the atmosphere and skyline! Great place!

User

A great place to hangout with your friends and enjoy that terrific view. Frank's Cafe is an inconspicuous place which offers so much more than you expect. I wasn't entirely sure where I was headed at first, but was pleasantly surprised when I finally arrived. Definitely lived up to all the fabulous ratings.

User

.Super cool! Beautiful view and excellent food. I do recommend it

User

The food was really good and was served quickly.. the drinks took ages... the Bloody Mary was so spicy we couldn’t drink it.. to be fare they changed it and the next one was still too spicy.. all in all a nice experience...

User

Really nice carpark-top bar (is it even a thing?) Just sad to find out it's closed on Mondays :(

User

I liked everything about the place except, and it's a big except, for the toilets. They certainly let the venue down and we couldn't bring ourselves to use them as they're absolutely disgusting. I'm surprised H&S are allowing them to be used like that.

Get the toilet situation rectified and it'll be a brilliant place to visit.

User

Great roof top spot and lots of space to either sit or stand while enjoying the views of London. However the toilets are just disgusting. They aren’t toilets, it’s just toilet seats over a hole, so no flushing system in place and it’s horrible and dirty and just stinks. Make sure you empty your bladder before going and don’t drink too much so you need to go to the loo. Still a fab place!

User

Great food, great wine with an amazing view of London - An absolute gem of a place in Peckham! I'll be back

User

Giving it 4 stars only because of the lack of music, think this would set it off perfectly! Otherwise had a fab time and the place was lovely too. Food also great!

User

Food great, drink great, venue great, staff great, toilets appalling....

User

Excellent drinks, food, stunning views, kick arse art & replica of Derek Jarman’s garden. What more could you ask for.

User

Definately worth a visit - stunning views and a great crowd! I would recommend this place.

User

Cool and quirky place with a nice view, only let down is their toilet facilities.

User

It’s a nice place with a great atmosphere. It could do with some music and the food was fairly average. The toilets were terrible, they really need to invest in better toilets.

User

Frank's is one of THE best places to enjoy a drink on a summers evening in London. HOWEVER.... When it comes to the food, I'm not sure what they're trying to pull. This is a rooftop bar in Peckham, yet they're trying to pull a menu of some high end dining. nah mate, this is Peckham!!!??!! People are here for the view, drink & atmosphere. people are not travelling from across all ends of London for the food. If I'm here to sip a drink or two, talk to friends, and appreciate the view ... yet feel a bit peckish..... just let me buy some chips, or a burger?! The food options here are NOT suited to the atmosphere of this place. Just stop it. You'll make A LOT more money feeding the people who are going to Franks (mainly for reasons listed above) and are a bit peckish. That's it. Summer vibes. Peace Out.

User

Although any open event/rooftop event in london is a risky venture (and yes it rained), the slightly spooky entrance up 5 stories of an empty car park, was worth it

User

The view was nice but Very expensive drinks for the quantity i got...The bartender put like a quarter of a can into a glass then filled it with ice. A bit of a joke i could say

User

The bar is ridiculously small for the capacity, it takes about a month to get served.

User

Nice place but extremely rude security staff. I have never been in a place before treating customers like this.

I was ordered to open my bag for search and as I had a scarf in the bag the security guy asked me to ‘TAKE IT OUT’. While taking the scarf out of my bag I couldn’t help giving him an irritated look as I am not used to being talked this way in my everyday life, and especially when I visit places as a customer. He got angry and said that I had an attitude and I would create problems in the bar and thus he wouldn’t let me in. I replied that my problem was that he was rude to me and all it would take was to say ‘Take it out PLEASE’ to customers. He continued saying he was entitled to search my bag and nobody else had reacted other than me, completely losing the point of me being offended by his behaviour (or trying to exercise his ‘power’ whatsoever). Finally, we were denied entry to the venue.

This was the second time a security staff in Frank’s Café was extremely rude to us.

Don't bother, there are some many other nice places in Peckham with lovely people and atmosphere.

User

Great place but it seems that Frank's bar just introduced a queue system. Very disappointed.

User

Came away from the night feeling pretty upset after being approached in a very confrontational manner by one of the bouncers. I had only put a plastic cup on the wall, but this particular bouncer was totally disproportionate in the way he dealt with the situation, as if I was about to start a fight. I do not expect to be spoken to by your staff like this. I have a photograph of the bouncer, so if you are serious about pursuing this issue, I can happily forward it you. Also, if you want to call yourself a bar, then please provide places around the whole area for people to put their drinks. Otherwise, you're nothing more than a big open air car park. Not a great atmosphere.
