Very poor service. Absolutely ignored us during the tenancy and the leaving process was a bit of a nightmare. An obstacle race, in fact.



They tried to scam us so many times and in so many different ways that we actually feel very proud of the little amount they were able to hold back from the deposit in the end (and we're fighting for it at the TDS, regardless). And me and my partner are lawyers.



If you decide to enter into an agreement with this people despite this, please review the agreement very carefully. Dodgy sections to be removed before signing are for granted.



BEWARE. Fraser remove reviews. When I left this there were 3 awful reviews, apart from mine. Now there's just mine. Mental.

The worst agency in London - everyone is just rude and unprofessional. They dont care about tenants at all and instead of appreciating their clients and building good reputation - they just put off their customers. You should avoid this agency, you wont get any deposit back. They are making up some bills and clauses at the end of your tenancy so they can rip you off from your whole deposit.

Get a good lawyer before you proceed with signing a Fraser&Co. tenancy contract, paying particular reference to furniture refresh, maintenance service levels, contract extension fees and checkout fees. Then get a signed letter confirming who has keys to your flat.



Fraser will claim that their “fees are reasonable” compared to other letting agents. Sorry, but no. Charging £90 to extend a contract for a final 2 months, which mostly benefits the landlord (who was also Fraser btw) is unethical. This should have been waived.



Further to this, checkout reports are the sole responsibility of the letting agency for the landlord (one and the same in this case), not the responsibility of the tenant, so regardless of what is in the contract, don’t charge the tenant for this as this is unethical, also regardless of what “other letting agents are doing”. This should not be charged to begin with.



Unauthorized access is unacceptable and is a breach of privacy. Fraser denies any unauthorized access, however kitchen cupboard doors don’t fix themselves!



Delays to maintenance of up to 2 months are also unacceptable.



Charging your tenants for refurbishing the flat is also unethical, particularly when the furniture supplied was old & suboptimal.



I expect an insincere reply to this post from Fraser, righteously justifying contractual obligations, maintaining their rigid unapologetic stance and saving face in the midst of what has been by far the worst dealings I have ever had with a letting agency in the 20 years I have been renting flats.



Do yourself a favour & avoid them if you are looking to rent.
