My daughter & her family emigrated to New Zealand to the south island , a few years after the earth οΏ½ quake they have just purchased their first house , (in West Melton ) you get a lot of house & land for your money a beautiful country, well worth a visit ( make it a long one ) loads to see !!! I have been a few times ( & going again this year )
