Voyeurism and a young woman's fascination with her own allure ... Francois Ozon's take on bourgeois desire ...
I haven't posted on my blog www.frenchfilmstories.com in a while. Jeune & Jolie starts in August by the ocean, a world of siestas, terrace dinners and love. Seemed a good one to pick up again with, and take me into the Film Francophone d'Angoulême tomorrow

The FIlm Festival d'Angouleme begins tomorrow ... I'm very excited.
It's my fourth festival situated in the great town of Angoulême in western France, the only festival in 🇫🇷 screening films solely in the French language.
The line-up is great and John Malkovich will head the Jury. I'm particularly looking forward to seeing Gerard Depardieu and Catherine Deneuve in #bonnepomme #FFA2017

Nathalie’s two children are grown-up, her marriage is a friendly habit and she is responsible for her mentally fragile ‘diva’-mother who frequently calls the… [ 293 more words ]
