Glentrammon Recreation Ground and Foxbury Wood

Glentrammon Recreation Ground has been in existence for over 80 years and is a wonderful green space for the local community to enjoy. It features two fields. The lower field has a playground and is classed as protected chalk grassland. The upper field has an enclosed ball court and is suitable for football or other team sports. Foxbury Wood is a small but delightful wood and is mainly used as a 'pass through' between two residential areas.

The Friends Group:
The Friends of Glentrammon Recreation Ground & Foxbury Wood was set up in late 2010 after a series of public meetings that were organised in partnership between the Green Street Green Village Society and the London Borough of Bromley. The purpose of the group is to encourage the local community to have an involvement in the upkeep of the local park and a stake in its future development.

The group was officially constituted at a public meeting in May 2011 and the committee formally elected.
